  1. amazing how the sniffer works so well after years of "wtf is that smell?"
  2. well watched a fix it video and thought i might do it easier and faster then he did. i did. just had to pry a bit on motor mount (which i would of been unable too with solid mounts that i would like to install at some point.) but once able to move an 1/2" or so i could get the ratchet in and break it loose. then just used an allen in the pin hole on t60 socket to get it off. if had just a bit you could use a 12pt 12mm on it and should do the trick as well. just use what you gots i reckon. warmed it up first as well and went around the block and someone had put out a couple squares of shingles on the curbed and i know my fishing buddy needs a new roof on his work shop/ chicken coop. so it was a good $200 score for roofing a shed. so today i bought a $8 oring kit for extras on hand and it was avaliable in stock vs ordering a $3 oring to have to pick up tomorrow. so thats done. next. awe yes rms. i forgot to get more oil. tomorrow i reckon.
  3. dirty butthole
  4. i had an issue though with the factory hood latches catching and not releasing so i removed all that hardware as well. added weight.
  5. just took it for a ride and man what a difference. i can hammer on it till 6k rpm without any break up or stumble. this i like. so I'm impressed and glad i finally got injected. now to deal with oil filter adapter o ring leaking. and wouldnt you know it i have a spare rms in the spares box in the jeep. so i guess ill swap that real quick as well. lifted rigs make for easy pan removal.
  6. is this for making these work??
  7. break. got all back together and fired up. runs or sounds like more hp. so initial sound difference. idle was on the higher side as if bad tps, rev it up with no crackles so that was a big notice and perhaps a indicator of it being able to maintain power up a hill. but as it may I'm going to tear it all back apart so i can fix the one injector o ring. but i must say i have come along way as this swap would have been an all weekend wrench fest back when i was just getting involved with jeeps. i have learned alot from just owning a MJ. it has in itself caused me to directly learn how to fix shiznit. and I'm thankful for that, but no i will not do your brakes friend.
  8. otherwise if needs exact specs i think 27.5.
  9. stock specs should still be good just .5" driversside for trac bar
  10. i didnt know about this. or did I ..not sure but yeah sometimes you get stranded and need a hand and be appreciative
  11. which is why i went with pins simple and easy. used a random hood spring from the junkyard to pop hood up and used a random gas strut to open the hood even on a hill. i opened one side up just to add a small padlock for extended parking. drill it or bfh.
  12. trying to install injectors with 4 holes vs the old single shot ones. one has a crack of sorts but i don't think that should matter as its below the rubber seal thing. cleaned up the dirty throttle body, may need to seal the snorkel back up has gotten some dirt build. no good. just gotta lube things up and plug the holes and should be good to go hopefully. then after a ill drive it before i buy it experience on these better atominizing of gas injectors. yeah yeah just get me up that damn hill. And for reference i can still fit in the garage and i did sleep in it last night.
  13. whining.
  14. i have dash for the vin title street able-bodied thing. i however do not need the ac or broken heater box so can pull that as that just added weight and more room to mount another battery, or speakers or hell just extra leg room , or perhaps air intake... either way just run my own gages for oil, volts, rpm, maybe a coolent temp one... then thats another less 10 lbs in unneeded fire hazard wiring..then install dual battery set up and wiring my lights and switches and have them how i like and where i like. found a junk truck tool box so i reckon i just cut a full dash face out of it being aluminum and all. then since its this roomy i might as well add some cage work and you know..... idk just run it or restore it.
  15. nice rig. thanks for sharing.

    Oh no

good. now just have patience centered around your rig. wait now continue to work on it and get it how you want it. then take it for a drive put together that feeling in that moment would be well worth the wait. you will rob yourself of that feeling and experience if you buy another beater rig too feed your impatience.

  20. solid buy.another truck being rescued.
  21. I'm listening to the flame flicking as it depletes the last of the kerosene. I'm going to freeze now unless i move to the shop and enjoy the sound of the turbo heater and enjoy the smells of burning diesel. eh yes, winter is near. collect your wood and steer clear of mr. frost. as long as the wood burns, no winter you can't endure.
  22. i think that bronco is a flop. i do live under rocks.
  23. indeed good sir. one must have a good plan and with any good plan, one needs good info, and with collecting good info, one must ask good questions. in doing so one shall create a good project. but it is when the one who knows how it is built and knows its cabilities and has the courage and confidence to drive that good project, then... and only then, will your project be great!! And when you take that first drive your big smile will show every one how great your journey has been. As you hammer down and look into your rear view mirror you'll tell yourself how great you are and yell.."watch out now, greatness coming through!" with that you will continue on to do great things and have a blessed life. enjoy and keep asking for information, feed your mind.
  24. ill take a set please. very nice.
