so... all those people that say they want me to visit... you might want to send me a PM with an address and phone number.

we recently discovered a Florida state park that's very near WDW and costs a whopping $30 a night for a campsite with electricity/water. Disney can keep their $300/ night hotel rooms. oh, and we've found the refillable popcorn bucket to be a screaming deal (especially if you just bring your bucket from last time and just pay for the refills )

favorite? as in just one? I couldn't possibly narrow it down that far. I've got plenty of albums in my favs I could listen to on repeat.

Can't kill my joy at all. I couldn't care less whether they lost money or not. They probably need to learn a lesson here anyways. we figured it out a long time ago that Disney is waaaaay cheaper if you simply don't buy any of their stuff. (At least not on property that is. my mom has quite a collection of Mickey ears and hats that were all found over the years at local resale shops for like a buck each instead of $30 a pop.) we bring our own food and drinks and just don't do any of those expensive parties and crap.

so I'm sure some of you have heard of Disney's new star wars lands. well the florida version is opening end of August and I heard they were having previews ahead of opening day (castmember, passholder, press, etc). I've been watching the opening of the Cali one closely (not everything went smoothly) and was curious as to how the soft openings were going to be held in disney world. so one day I got an email from Disney about all the hoopla (I'm a passholder so I get a lot of emails). I clicked on it hoping for some details to satiate my curiosity and got stuck in their stupid auto-queue instead. whatever. so I walked away to do something more useful and forgot about it for a couple hours. came back later to find the screen was asking me to sign in. excellent, now I'll get some info! well, sorta. turns out I was given 3 spots (me and my folks) for the evening of Aug 20th. wait, what just happened? Talked to my folks about it and they were way more into it than I had thought and suddenly we're making plans to haul the camper 16 hrs round trip for a whopping 3 days of florida summer. thank goodness the trailer has A/C! So next week I'm sure you can look forward to a plethora of pics of the engineering and architectural details of a billion dollar project. maybe a shot of Chewie too. I admit I'm a little bit geeked for this.

good stuff in there I gravitate towards the more bluesy jazz but good music is good music

managed to snag a big ol truck battery of proper size at the second yard I went to. the R/T fires right up and works like a charm. now to find a buyer.

30s 40s 50s that sort of thing. spotify is just full of neat playlists.

ouch. that might be rough.

car-part.com can help with your junkyard searches. be sure to search for different years, as the site lists purely by part number and that changed over the years even though the parts still swap fine.

all day?

is does, but I'm stopping by a friends house there. Can you drive to Success or Cherryvale?

or you can work with the new clocking for better ground clearance. I've got a TJ AX-15 in mine. pretty sure the MJ and XJ will have the same clocking. it's the YJs and TJs that have less.

if anyone is feeling super frisky one day, all those facebook photos need to be snagged off of FB and reloaded here in the appropriate thread. there's like 80 of them.

those dudes are so shy I'm shocked you got a pic! I know they are around, but have only spotted one in the last decade of north georgia livin'.

sorta. some transmission had a 21 spline output while others had a 23. the AX-15 had 23 so you'll need a t-case from any Jeep from 90s that wasn't a 2.5L. There are a TON of Libertys i then yards these days. I bet it's not had to make one of their 242s work.

neat! can you throw together a writeup for the DIY page?

Bodywork/Hillbilly Engineering Help
Pete M replied to NC Tom's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
there's a PDF factory shop manual in the link in my sig. that should show you how to remove the fender. -
I've been on an blues kick lately. the old stuff in particular.

Even though it's a late model engine, the HO generally refers to the 91+ Chrysler operating system. Personally I would treat it as a renix and leave it alone except for some minor upgrades. high idle could be a vacuum leak or a sensor going bad. there should be some sensor diagnostics in the link in my sig. also in that link is Cruiser's MJ tips. do all of them that apply. it addresses most all the shortcomings and age-related issues with our old Jeeps.
