  1. good point. personally I'd never spend money on drums. (except for my new baby which will remain as original as possible)
  2. if the dana 35 you have is working ok, then I would keep it. Just don't spend any money on it beyond oil and brake shoes. If anything serious goes wrong, invest that money into an 8.25 or Explorer 8.8.
  3. my cameras plug into USB power.
  4. There are a couple campgrounds in Colorado City just 15 minutes south of Katie's place.
  5. oh, and Katie's place is at: 5668 Brian Ave. Pueblo CO 81004 south of Pueblo proper.
  6. there's plenty of room, but the final road up to her place is steep and pretty dang rutted. I imagine there has to be something near by where you can stay in a camper. I'll see what I can find. there's a walmart in town.
  7. I went with this one for the Libby, and because it rotates a lot to accommodate a vertical glass I'll be adding one to the rear window too. I'm doing it because I want to catch the aggressive drivers on the roads in Atlanta (should an accident happen near me but not include me, I want to hand the cop some proof of their insane antics), but you could also use it on the back window of a truck to keep tabs on the bed. https://www.ebay.com/itm/GPS-Camera-HD-Car-DVR-Dash-Cam-Video-Recorder-G-Sensor-1080P-WiFi-Parking-Mode/283512976933?hash=item4202b0b625%3Ag%3AZd4AAOSw4O5c~1Bm&LH_ItemCondition=1000 I have this one in the Durango. no reason that its different, I just bought it first and didn't yet know about the style I put in the Libby. both give good video. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Anytek-X28-FHD-1080P-150-Dash-Cam-Car-DVR-Camera-Recorder-WiFi-ADAS-G-sens-W4H1/303255508978?hash=item469b6fd7f2%3Ag%3AKJEAAOSwVcFdMJIC&LH_ItemCondition=1000
  8. it is ALWAYS time to get a dash cam with motion sensor. mine cost $22 shipped plus 6 bucks for a card.
  9. there's no way I could get through all his lines with a straight face. I think that's the most impressive part.

  11. I don't see the vid in the first post. is it this one?
  12. monday and tuesday the 9th/10th. maaaaaaaybe on sunday too but I can't say for sure yet since I'd like to leave that open to help Ben with his barn if he's not working that day. I do know that I've got nothing planned for monday or tuesday beyond junkyardin'.
  13. I have a minispool up front. it was cheap and I had no idea how much hassle it would cause since once it's bound up there's no way to unlock a hub to give 3wheel traction. live and learn indeed.
  14. It'll likely be monday the 16th
  15. welcome to the club be sure to start build thread to introduce your Jeep oh, and add it to the Registry too!
  16. how well does it run as 5 cylinder?
  17. she was and will continue to be a HUGE source of inspiration to the young ladies out there.
  18. that sucks. royally. I feel for ya. I'm half dreading the work I'm planning for the CRD this fall. always use antisieze
  19. as with all overly complicated plans, I've had to shuffle some things around. the powwow dates are circled in red. in addition, with any luck I'll be at the junkyards in denver for a day or 2 if anyone has time off and wants to lend a hand pulling KJ parts. and I still don't have the Durango back, but the part is theoretically supposed to get to the dealership today soooo.....
  20. neat! did much crap come out of the axle tube?
  21. also the little badge says Laredo, which was not available on the 86 model year. bbuuuuuuuuut 30 years has passed and lots can happen in that time...
  22. are they AMC flaps or just Jeep flaps?
