87Warrior Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 I grabbed some "still in the wrapper" new 86 wiring diagrams! I had planned to actually use them, but now I'm not so sure...
Pete M Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 dang! wouldn't that look cool on your Jeep shelf?
87Warrior Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 It will keep my very non NOS service manual company
Pete M Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 normally I don't like counting my chickens ahead of time, but I'm quite happy I found this little guy. should be here in a few days.
eaglescout526 Posted April 11, 2022 Author Posted April 11, 2022 Wait, there’s more floating around out there?! I know there aren’t any out there at dealers.

Pete M Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 scored a NOS front end. some scratches here and there, but still cheaper than some of the junkyard fronts I've purchased.

eaglescout526 Posted April 13, 2022 Author Posted April 13, 2022 Yeah that one is just a Renix one Pete.
Pete M Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 yup, it most definitely has the holes in the front/top for the bigger JEEP letters.

I really like the ‘84-‘86 noses. There’s a few anomalies that don’t exist in the later RENIX units and the few I’ve had just seemed a bit thicker and better molded.
eaglescout526 Posted April 13, 2022 Author Posted April 13, 2022 I’d love to have the early waggy variant of the header panel. Anytime I see them being parted out, they almost always seem to be something someone doesn’t want to sell.

neohic Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Going through some parts from my stash today and had a nice time remembering some past visits with some '80s go-fast guys. Most of this stuff is NOS, but not all.
Pete M Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 get that dam to someone that can make copies! they are way less awesome than that pile, but I just got my 2 nos 90 XJs chrome grilles today. they were mislabeled as ZJ.

Always been very jealous I second Pete, if you don’t want to physically loan the air dam out then you are obligated to take lots of photos with a tape measure for reference for the folks who want to try their hand and repopping it.
