fiatslug87 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Found this on the '88's windshield this morning.
eaglescout526 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Lol. I have had a couple folks approach me at the gas station about LR. Told them not for sale. I knew they would use it as a work truck and take it down to Mexico. A discount tire employee asked me once if I was selling and told him I had too much time and money invested to sell. He probably just wanted a Jeep. That note reads like one one of those staked into the ground signs that says “I buy houses in any condition”.

It almost looks like a generic note that he had printed out by the hundreds.
fiatslug87 Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 A few weeks ago someone stopped by and asked my wife if it was for sale, even the garbage man asked her once and I've had several random cars stop and ask me if the "Jeep" is for sale, not mentioning Comanche. You would think if someone sees three of the same old truck it's a collection and not for sale, especially when they have matching license plates.
derf Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 When I drive my J10 around, I get people asking me if I want to sell it. I put it up for sale and put a price on it and everyone vanishes.
87MJTIM Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I found a note like that several year's ago. I still have it, LOL. (I have not call the number back yet.)
Smokeyyank Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I had the MJ parked at my dad's for a while with the move. He sells cars and people always ask about it. Funny thing is when you actually start taking cash people disappear. Like they just want me to give it to them.

Drahcir495 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I don’t feel very special. Outside of the CC, nobody has ever commented on mine. Only thing close to this was I had a note put on the windshield of the CJ. It said that he had a 401 he would sell. I don’t know what was wrong with me . Should have jumped on it.
MJCARENA Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I have people asking to buy mine, and I just tell them its not for sale, but for $20,000 cash its yours. Funny when people see it and they say, you don't see a Comanche everyday. I reply to them, I do.
ComancheKid45 Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 It's been awhile since I've had any offers. I'm ok with that! Haha

Manche757 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Someone left this on on my 89 MJ while parked at Costco. People with stop as ask if the 89 or 87 are for sale here. Many of the younger crowd have never seen them before.
Pete M Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 had a guy stop by the house yesterday and ask if I was willing to sell the half-a-jeep and cap. nope!
