Best MJ story

I found it on a ad for cars.com 5 minutes after it was posted. The gentleman told me i was the second call already. I got him down from the asking price of $5800 to $4800 over the phone and told him I would be there in 9 hours (it was 800 miles away!) After giving him $1000 on pay pal my wife and I hopped in her Patriot and started driving. After getting there the truck was actually nicer then described in The the ad. He was a little upset when I got there telling me he had 48 more calls in the next 4 hours after we had made the deal. I couldn't believe it. Even the air blew ice cold and it drove tight and right! After spending a few weeks adding the Cherokee 97+nose job,wet sanding and buffing, Liberty light bar,and reapplying the factory Eliminator Stripes and tonneau cover I'm pretty much finished!

What owner loves best about CC

I get more attention and questions about my Comanche then I did about my 2008 tricked out Hummer I sold!

PICS!

Should I say I am not surprised that your MJ gets more attention than your tricked out Hummer? Nah. That truck you have there is a thing of beauty. The wheels, tires, bumpers, all the small details... Unbelievable. That KJ lightbar looks so at home on the top of the truck. Should have been a factory option. The Hanson rear bumper looks great. Every bit of this truck shines and reflects a meticulous member who has attention for detail.

Congratulations on your MJOTM!

Rob

Wow... this dude pops on this site just in May and this gorgeous truck just leapt into everyone’s eye. For real, this thing is just beautiful. The addition of the few non-original parts give it this "factory plus" look to it. It's all factory parts, but the order and choice on them is spot on. Not too much, just enough to make you look at it and wonder if Jeep could've made it. Thank you for building this truck and congratulations!

Wow thanks everybody! I feel like an idiot (which I am from time to time) cause I just sent a pm to automan2164 asking when it was going to be posted and its been there for 2 weeks! I was looking in the wrong place for it! And yes you are all right about not being done. I just obtained a perfect set of seats from an Wrangler Rubicon that are going in soon. My factory seats are nearly perfect but not so comfortable. I just missed a set of brackets for sale recently on our site that I wish I woulda bought cause I hate to tear apart my stockers. Ive put my MJ in storage recently cause I can't bear to drive it in a salt filled PA. winter. Was laying under it the other day on a creeper and could not find a single speck of rust! Ive had 2 others ravaged by salt and couldnt subject this one to it. After seeing some of the badass machines you guys have built I'm humbled you find mine so nice. Thanks!

Thanks Scott! I didn't realize how special this thing was till people on the street started pulling me over to look at it and you guys responded the way you have! The owner of a local Jeep dealer offered me 10k for it the other day. I would have taken 12! But would probably regret it later!
