Spindles are easy to weld on them too. Keeps it out of the scrap pile.

You can run it wherever you want it is over the tank to protect it.

Update is much appreciated. I am another Texas MJ owner and my truck came from Pearland. yet another Houston area neighborhood.

It isn't the same. End of discussion. The Model 20 used in the MJ had one-piece axles. Good to know. I was thinking the same thing. I replaced those 2 piece CJ axles about once a month for awhile back then. Finally sold that CJ for that very reason. :clapping:

He has been asker a couple of times and as yet no answer, so I doubt one is forthcoming. Very nice truck. I hope mine turns out half as nice and half as tall. I'm gettin' too old to jump that high anymore.

The one in my XJ had some leaves and pine needles in it and smoked until I cleaned it out. Smoking is a bad habit and un-healthy even for a Jeep.
