  1. mmm, Orange I guess. I'll double check it. What would that indicate?
  2. Compression good, pump primes, fuel at tb.
  3. So, fuel pump died, replaced it. Ran for about 20 mins then died. Cranks, but no start. I have fuel. I have new CPS (241 Ohms). All Fusible links checked. Fuel pump primes and cracked the line at the TB and its got fuel. Replaced the fuel injector (AUS). Spark at every plug. Any ideas? I love my truck and it ran so well. I've been trouble shooting it for about a month now. Random Pic for Attention. :D
  4. Yea, I hadn't torqued them on, just sinched them up to check fitment.
  5. 17s, and xj front springs with 2 inch pucks works to run 32s. It's tight, but no rubbing.
  6. Oh yea and jk wheels wrapped with stock 255s.
  7. Update .... long time waiting. Rear AutoZone shackles, front Rukse pucks, and xj springs. Found out the clunk in the front was a broken spring! Along with very worn sway bar bushings.
  8. A reman 94 amp for mjs with a/c is about $70 with core exchange, seems good. I'll research the rebuild option.
  9. I have an 86 2.5 tbi. No a/c ... would it be possible/good/safe idea to get an 90 amp alt for a/c, and swap the serp pulley for v belt pulley? They appear to be close, except the 9 o clock wire mounting. Webb
  10. Interesting on the drop axle stuff. .......... I'm not a block fan and will probably do some leaf swapping, I have a extra set of XJ springs amongst some other stuff. I'll take some pix of what I'm working with so you guys can get it out.
  11. Lowering Questions ............ And I'm back ...... I finished up my degree, got a sweet job, and finally have some cash to finish my Comanche. Its running like a champ, the replacement bed is put on and interior is done. Question ...... will stock XJ shackles fit on the MJ and would that be an ok way to lower it? .... (would it change the drive line too much?) for the front I see that people use rear TJ, or rear ZJ, or WJ springs? Does this work and what drop would I expect. Also I got rid of my DD volvo, but was thinking of snagging a front air dam off of an older 740, has anyone tried to mate up a volvo or some other front end to get that "street" comanche look. Thanks, Andrew
