beepbeepmyredjeep Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Let's have some fun and talk about the projects we want to do, but know we'll never get to because we won't ever have the time or money. Mine: There are two projects which fit in this category: 1) Build a "Green MJ". Not only would the MJ be painted green, it would also run on water. 2) Build a "Grand Cheromanche", using parts from a junkyard MJ which has been totaled in the front and the front half of a brand new Grand Cherokee. The truck that never was.
jimoshel Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 When I was first interested in cars chopping and channeling was the hottie. I would like to chop and a channel a MJ and install a 400 Buick in it.
dakal Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 get an older rolls royce, put a large horsepower chevy in it, auto trans and put a mj sticker on the back window. the stars an stripes one.
Paul Bruchal Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I have made this on my Xbox 360 game "Forza 3"... Its a realistic racing game. I think its the most realistic game out there for racing and building cars. In October 2011 Forza 4 come out FYI! But I want to build this in real life: Datsun 510 with the R33 Nissan Skyline NUR engine "inline 6 twin turbo"=] with the AWD drivetrain too. In my game it does a 20 sec 1 mile pass on the track, 235mph. Wahahaha
xjrev10 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 build a 2001 mj. with the full rubi package. LIKE
terrawombat Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 See the 5.9L Comanche in my sig. Need more hours in the day. Or a way to stop the clock (but it would also need to stop my body from aging).
beaterjeep Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I would still like to do my MJ15 project. Convert an MJ into a miniature version of the M715 by removing the bedsides and building a set of fenders for it. The front fenders would be cut and shaped similarly. 6.5" long arm lift, 35"s, cut the rockers out and replace with 2"x6" as rock rails, 4.7L stroker (possible turbo), AX15/242, and waggy header panel.
dfreeman616 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 late model xj 2 door body grafted in to make extended cab comanche, cummins 4bt motor :jump:
jpnjim Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I'd just like to FINISH some of the projects I already started. The 'work on my crap time', :wrench: that normally happens some time between when the job needs me, and the family needs me has shrunk down ALOT over the last few years. Oh well, if I can keep my mind away from any NEW projects, and just dig into the old ones, they'll get done.... eventually.
streetjeep2.5 Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Put this in this But this is all the farther I am Image Not Found
manche75 Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Make an srt-6 comanche. Even though I'm doing it with my cherokee, id still like to do it with an mj.
mkbruin Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 2) Build a "Grand Cheromanche", using parts from a junkyard MJ which has been totaled in the front and the front half of a brand new Grand Cherokee. The truck that never was. Still looking for the mopar concept...

Pete M Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I wanna stretch out a Waggy to tow my MJ around. no wood panels though. start with this: stretch to this: then finish up with this: though I won't be towing with those particular tires. they just happened to be at the right size/angle for the photo.
HOrnbrod Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Install a Hesco aluminum head with Yella Terra roller rockers on my stroker.
Automan2164 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Install a Hesco aluminum head with Yella Terra roller rockers on my stroker. So do it! Rob
Automan2164 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 So do it! Rob $2500+ is why. Meh, as a co worker used to say: "It's just money, you make more everyday..." And "Going to be in debt for the rest of your life, might as well have some nice $#!&." For a guy who wrenched during the day, and rebuilt sewing machines at night, he pulled down some cash. Rob
HOrnbrod Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Good philosophy if you're unmarried and w/o kids. :(
H3RESQ Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Build a prerunner comanche with the all alum chevy 5.3. Heck, I'd like that motor in my current comanche for that matter.
