Id probably pick up $60 Autozone led cubes if i can't get this lamp brighter. Would a led cube wire up to that positive negative wiring? I never delt with led yet. Thankyou for offering sockets but I'm about to have 3 addresses with 2 months. It would be this summer before I can receive anything in mail. I may still have the socket, I have alot of junk in my tool boxes to sort threw.

I had problems for a long time with my reverse lights and I finally found out the problem. Reverse light switch. Fixed it. But I cut my drivers side rev. light socket because i had a rats nest of wiring from last owner and i lost that socket... I had a CATapiler light in my tool box and i wired it up to the reverse light wiring and it works. Except its really dim. I made my headlights brighter by upgrading the harness and they are 3x brighter then stock wiring. I know it uses a relay to have 12v to the lamp but I am a noob with relays if its not in a premade harness.. can someone explain to me how i can do the same thing to my CAT lamp please? JCR rear bumper, and fog lamp tag lights.

I'm missing the bolt that holds down the brake line "block that splits the line to each drum" to the dana 35 axle. Does anyone know if i can get a replacement from Autozone or what size it is so i can get one from Lowes/homedeopt? Right now my rear lines are floating. Atleast they still work lol

No reverse light Voltage
Paul Bruchal replied to Paul Bruchal's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I had my Jeep towed to a garage to have alot of things done to pass my "military POV inspection". The garage i brought it to did everything on the list except the reverse lights. They don't specialize "in internal engine or transmission" and they "thought" it was the rod that pushes the reverse light switch wore out and thats why there was no voltage. They drove my jeep down the block to a transmission shop for me. 2 weeks later once i got out of the field, training, the trans. garage said it was the switch that was bad. It took awhile but in just glad its finally done. -

RC bumper, Stinger or light bar?

My Jeep isnt Mall Rated or anything like that. It has trail damage on all panels. I bought the Jeep to get to our training areas down mud trails/dirt roads on Ft Benning. I'm planning on making this Jeep into a Expedition rig. Its working fine now hauling military equipment as 3ID is being disbanded right now. -
RC bumper, Stinger or light bar?

get stinger, put light tabs on it??? -
I'm getting my Jeep ready for Inspection again and had to get bumpers again. So i was finally forced to buy the bumpers I been waiting to get which is fine by me. I love this bumper, but I want the D rings and either the light bar for grill protection on trails or Stinger for overkill protection from branches and other vehicles on the road... I really can't decide. I'm leaning on stinger side

No reverse light Voltage
Paul Bruchal replied to Paul Bruchal's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The fuse is not blown. I checked the trans and I think i found the switch. Is it on the driver side or the trans with a rubber boot and plastic wire tube coming out of it? Kinda small? -

I have a manual trans. Soo, check the trans fuse & backup light switch on the transmission. -
I have no back up lights. I cut the wire and traced it. Found it spliced from 1 to 2 back into 1 wire again for no reason and still, i couldnt find voltage. Anyone have any idea why both tail lights are out at the same time???

AC isnt the problem because I have half of it un-installed already. "taking it out" I know I don't have heat because I need to flush the heater core out. I need to find some leads to my DMM and check for power at the motor and check the resistor/find it. Tonight I tried the defroster again. It did turn after running the Jeep for 15 min, it blew warm, then cold air.
-
Bought this Jeep over the summer and all the air controls worked. Had a vacuum leak so it defaulted to defrost only and I fixed that. Soon as I fixed that vacuum leak, my air only worked randomly, like, when ever it wanted to blow air, not on demand. And now it never works. Fuse isnt blown. 25A. I'm wanting to delete my AC and only have heat for defrost. But since its getting colder out, my windshield at night gets ALOT of condensation on it and needs the defroster.. and i don't even have that. I need some help please!~
