I see logs and I raise logs: :L:

I needed to move the log pile from one side of the property to the porch.

A real trooper indeed.

For my home made springs l used a set of 3.5” lift XJ springs with the eyes cut off the main leaf and the ends rounded similar to the stock leaves and bolted to the main leaf with a new center pin. Sat maybe an inch higher than a Metric ton MJ.

I’ll find some pictures of it to post.

I believe those are 265/70/16 on some liberty wheels. Maybe 245/70’s.

My brother and I grabbed the comanche and took it on a 600mi journey on black Friday. It's first long mile trip. New Hampshire > New Jersey > Massachusetts > New Hampshire.

New leaf springs and suspension did not sweat a bit. It took it like a champ.

That big ol EV charger weighs 750lbs. The charger came from the finest parts of New Jersey, as one would expect :brows:

I should also note that yesterday was my Blue truck’s production date.

How would you like to be put to work on your birthday!?!? :comanche:

Still a rad truck and it’s good to see it being used.

Dana 44 but normal springs.  Comes close to the bump stops, drives beautifully with a load or towing a trailer.

Got into a little fender bender but I couldn’t access the upper bumper torx bolt or one of bracket bolts to get things apart. The ‘88 to the rescue for a little pulling/unbending action.:L:

This thread is awesome, it makes me happy to see any old truck doing useful work.

Last week the Heartbreaker did its first real work since I got it, we hauled my son's recently acquired but very tired 302 from his '95 F150 to the speed shop for a refresh.

I was nervous about lugging this lump around with the old Peugot but it did fine.

I thought for sure I'd have to be patient, my previous truck was a Ranger with the 3.0.

But this guy drove the same as it does empty, like it wasn't even carrying a whole nother engine in the back.

The neighbor's shiny maroon Mojave Gladiator hardly ever leaves his driveway, the poor thing.

The old red Titan one door down has been parked there since they moved in.

There is always a lot of rare old iron to ogle at the speed shop.

When I saw this spot was open I had to take it.

@coheed Nice!

I just saved some old equipment from the scrap man. Not a lot of weight this time, but it sure made the trip easy. The guy I picked it up from used to have 4 comanche's! Bonkers.

I dig the black fender flares.

I've thought about dipping mine black, but the front ones are already a little crusty on top, so it's probably best if I don't make them soak up the maximum amount of Arizona solar radiation.

Blast from the past (pre trailer hitch )! Just came across this picture from August 1998, trenching for the backyard sprinkler system.
