1989commanche Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 For Christmas my mj got new to me upper control arms and new bushings on the axle. Boy it rides smoother and way quieter now that the bolts are centered in the bushings.

The retaining spring for the pawl won't hold it tight. It will release randomly.I can't find a spring small enough, and with enough tension to hold the park brake pawl.

shelbyluvv Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 I added some used oil, checked the oil level in the radiator then used it to move my 30' travel trailer and boat around the property.I'm not kidding about the oil in the radiator. I think it has a crack in a oil passage to a coolant passage.

You sound like me!My tail rig is an 03 Rubicon. I've got about $1k in parts sitting in my shop just need to be installed, and there's a few spherical joints that need rebuilding. Only been that way about a year!

Also cleanned a couple grounds and the c101 connector tonight. I'm committed to getting the my back to road worthy this time. Hoping to squeeze in a junkyard trip this weekend if time allows.
