what did you do to your MJ today?

Finally done with the clutch, and shifter rebuild, ect......

I thought my truck had some pep before, but now it's crazy. I have a hard time not letting my right rear tire chirp every time I start off.
Now I need to find a D35 LSD on the cheap!

Finally got use to the new clutch.
I removed the 4 cheapo horns the PO had crammed in behind the front bumper.
She gotta a nice new super loud compact twin air horn from Viking.

For Christmas my mj got new to me upper control arms and new bushings on the axle. Boy it rides smoother and way quieter now that the bolts are centered in the bushings.

Searching for a spring!
I rebuilt my park brake a while back, but still can't use it. The retaining spring for the pawl won't hold it tight. It will release randomly.
I can't find a spring small enough, and with enough tension to hold the park brake pawl.

Put the last coat of fiberglass on my headliner board. I'll give it a few days, and start putting upholstery on it.
Now I am debating to try and paint the interior trim, or to cover it with fabric.

I added some used oil, checked the oil level in the radiator then used it to move my 30' travel trailer and boat around the property.

I'm not kidding about the oil in the radiator. I think it has a crack in a oil passage to a coolant passage.

that sucks
Meh, it still runs great. It's been like that for over a year. I drive it all the time and use it. I'll run it until it blows up and then replace the entire cooling system and engine.

of course it does!  :D  it's a 4.0!  mine's been through a half-dozen calamities and it still fires up and scoots. :comanche:  Though it's been a couple years since I fired it up (not since the throttle body seized up).  Soon as I'm done messing around with the KJ I'm going to install that replacement and see what happens.

You sound like me!
My tail rig is an 03 Rubicon. I've got about $1k in parts sitting in my shop just need to be installed, and there's a few spherical joints that need rebuilding. Only been that way about a year!

Sounds like a convoluted way to do oil cooling. But yet. Still sounds like it works lol. Does she stay under 200f?

It stays right at 200°. It's a little down on power and has a bunch of blow by but still runs great.

Cleared the snow off and took it to the store. Compared my stt discovery on the jeep to the at3 xlt on my daily. Think those are my new favorite tires so far. 264de35f02fe037b9a5ca1a380e5219a.jpg0e071d29231197e5d65e807975a4b8c1.jpg
