mvusse
Buttoned up the bottom of the truck after swapping out the AX4 for an AX5. Still need to fill the transmission, transfer case and crank case as well as reinstall the center console. As a bonus, I found 5 quart jugs of Mobil 1 10W30 API SL at Wally World for $25. Usually I have to get 4 stroke motorcycle oil (API SJ) by the quart. I will never use SM or SN in my Jeeps.
SW86
finally installed my MOOG ball joints. then i gutted all the CAD stuff and made a cover plate. cleaned the axle tubes and installed Alloy axle tube seals. which are bitchin as hell. got my new hubs and shafts ready for tomorrow when the RTV cures fully and ill be wheelin again! ah and I'm having to replace the rear pinion seal on the turdy5. maybe i should just swap the 8.25 in already
Blue88Comanche
I got a phone call from the Mechanic telling me the "bad news" about my BA10 tranny... the input shaft broke and damaged some clutch parts with it... ...So i started looking for an AX-15, and the parts required for the swap... I now have 2 Comanches I can't drive... one with an engine, but no tranny, one with a tranny but no engine... and no i am not moving the engine to red, and reds tranny is an auto 2wd and i don't have the drive shaft... so no quick fix

SW86
^^^^sweet please tell me that STP is not for the MJ. i put one on and not long (like 2 weeks) after it was @#$%ed up and caused my low oil pressure issue. which cost me dough since i bought a high flow pump but all i needed was a WIX.
