thought about keeping it and began making the pigtail for the front to rear harness. hope the pins for the connectors are the same in a 96 as they are a 92 , if not then :headpop:

I replaced the front bumper with a nice chrome one from a JY Cherokee and added the factory tow hooks I bought from Summerinmaine (Jim). I also swapped in a solid wing window on the passenger side so both sides are now solid. I swapped in both hockey stick door handles and the visors with nice black ones from the JY.

Bought it and brought it home!

Also, removed an entirely unnecessary teenager-applied eyebrow, along with crusted decals. Simple greened the crap out of all of it.

My front end is starting to blind me at times, so I thought I'd tone it down as Gjeep did with his new 92 by painting the vertical chrome slots black. I used Krylon Fusion Satin and I like it a lot better. Thanks G.

Got frustrated with the brakes barely working. Replaced the rear wheel cylinders, turned the drums, and new shoes. The cylinders were shot, squirting fluid everywhere. I'm not a fan of working on brakes, especially drums/shoes, but its done now, except for the bleeding. Will do that tomorrow, and hopefully the brakes slow me down faster than downshifting now.

New battery terminals

New battery

Oil Change

New cap and rotor

New plugs

New wires

New valve cover gasket

New air filter

Now it's puking oil somewhere, right onto the exhaust manifold.. smoking like a sumbitch. :fs2: :wall:

Tomorrow is finding the leak, and showing the rear bumper some love. And maybe new(er) tires and wheels if I'm super lucky. Also, flywheel dust cover to go on, and working on relivening the bench seat a bit.

Well, I scored new tires, but they're a touch bigger than I wanted. Ended up with 265/75/15s on some aluminum 5 spokes.

Prepped and painted bumper - on the truck, since trying to remove it grenaded one of my Craftsman deep sockets.

Prepped and painted wheels

Prepped and painted dumbass chrome tips on exhaust now nice flat black

Fabbed license plate light

Pulled valve cover to realign gasket - no more spitting oil

Mounted 3 tires - tomorrow is no 4.

Still need to get another tail light bulb, a wiper set, and mount the flywheel dust cover, then get her inspected.

New belts

New wipers

Replaced burned out taillight

Replaced flywheel dust cover

Cleaned up starter while installing dust cover

Degreased engine to diagnose leak site

Hooked up reverse lights

Now it won't start. This little mother@#$%er.

Picked up a new driveshaft for the Pig made from 3" .188 wall tube, $250. Then went 75 minutes in the other direction and picked up an AX5 for the Purple People Eater.

Seriously considered setting it on fire, and watching it burn!

You too?

Oh yeah...several times!

I wanted to make it look like Ryan Dunns porsche! (No?...Too soon?...)

stripped the driver side bed of paint and began bondo process, then covered up my work with some temp gray primer

picked up some 1.75 coil spacers since cash for taller springs isnt in budget right now and waiting to hear back from the guy who's helping with the long arms/SOA rear swap :headpop:

oh yeah, got it dirty again :brows:

Finally figured out my MAP sensor vacuum line wasn't plugged in. Put a new one on and improved my gas mileage from a consistent 4 mpg up to 10 mpg after a hilly 40 mile trip, mostly in 3rd gear. She's starting to run like a real truck now.
