Did several things today,

Did an oil change and lube.

Changed the o rings in the oil filter adapter.

Lucked out with the hex, made the job easier.

Had a issue with the exhaust pipe rattling on the transmission mount cross bar.

A few washers and voila, no more rattles.

Next, changed the wiper mechanism. The wiper arm was swinging right off the windshield.

That took a few hours longer than I figured.

Ummm, nope.

It's cloth.

:waving:

2 screws up front and one screw at the back.

I had to skill saw off about 6 inches of the original.

The cool part is the 8 led's (Wal Mart) stuck on the green plexiglass which come on when the passenger doors opens.

Made it easier to park the MJ in garage by selling the near perfect extra longbed, set o tail lights, rear bumper brackets, set of bucket seats and brackets, an AW4 and 231, a tailgate, black sun-visors, some wiring harnesses, couple mirrors, and miscellaneous other MJ parts that have been laying around sucking up space. Shoved the grand-sons 84 Accord out the back door of the garage. Got lots of work space now.

Just painted my cage a new color and modified my seat brackets so they sit about an inch lower.

Last week actually , :wrench: Installed a brand new galvanized gas tank and straps . The last trip up-country pounding down those forestry roads was the last straw for my 21 year old rusty/dented tank , my buddies had a good laugh at my road-side shade tree fix using a bar of soap and many layers of aluminum tape , but I got home with it comanche.gif
