Hey Chandler, I don't think there's another language involved. I think the seller has spelling issues. I just have to question the authenticity of the 1-100 Al Unser Comanches mostly due to the fact that the members here on CC are basically EXPERTS on anything Comanche related and no one has heard of this series of 88 Comanches until now. I suppose it's possible but not very probable.

Don, I might be wrong but my concerns about the truck being a true Street Comanche are well placed. If the placard says Al Unser Street Commanche 51 of 100 then there should be 99 others that say the same thing. The only SC placards I've seen look like this:

Interesting! It's a 88 and Street Comanches are all 87. The glove box placard says Al Unser, again not SC ,and misspells Comanche with two Ms. The tonneau cover should be velcro, not snaps. It's a nice looking truck but a few things are off in a weird way.

If possible, talk to the kids and parents together since some parents freak out when their little angels are confronted with anything negative. Also, maybe invite the kids (with permission) to help you work on the truck for simple repairs and upgrades. They just might get the Comanche bug and have more respect for a truck they helped maintain.

All the math equations we learned are apparently obsolete because all the schools teach now are Common Core principles which essentially doubles or triples the process of solving a math problem. And this is being taught to kids who have a computor of some form glued to their hands 24/7.

It's also a good idea to compare yours to pictures of BA/10 and AX15 incase a previous owner already did a swap. I know there is a post on here that clearly shows the two side by side and Google Images should be helpful as well.

The metal frame of the vent window is shaped like a #4 with the side going down into the door as a track for the roll up window. You need to replace the entire fame but it's really easy. I would swap in the solid ones to avoid the usual leaks common with the pivot wing windows.

I have a 2013 with the 3.6 Pentastar motor. I bought it for better gas mileage for trips from San Diego to Washington state. It doesn't have the throaty sound of the hemi but it has close to 300 hp and I have no complaints. I drove 1300 miles with at least 1000lbs in the bed and didn't even feel it.

Having someone professionally restore a bumper is going to cost way more than being patient and eventually finding a great one to purchase. Get a couple quotes from the repair shops and decide if the cost is worth it to you.

Don't take it personally. Although the members on here are generally a really great group of guys (and gals) I have noticed they are the penny pinchiest, tight wadiest, misers I've had the privilege of associating with. We all would benefit from higher value of our trucks, so good luck with the sale.

I have the one you are looking for. It's from a 86, 2.5, 5spd. I don't know which diode you are referencing but I removed the cover and everything looks pristine. I didn't see anything that looked burnt or rusty. $35 shipped if you want it, let me know. Sorry about the blurry close-ups, my camera is very basic.

It'll work but if it's a dual diaphragm you may need to move your airbox forward a little.
