Nope no Guam, ended up states side on that Navy contract. Well I can understand when you're retired and have all kinds of time on your hands to polish all of it. Jeez life is OK looking forward to retiring myself. 3 more years. Then I can go back to looking for that chrome rear bumper full time.

Anyone else have one of these? This is an AMC Comanche rear window louver that I picked up years ago. Is it in any accessories catalogue? At the time of the pic it was being held up by the plastic tool storage box also in the pic. I bought it off ebay as old stock. It came in the an AMC box and with AMC instructions. It attaches with 3M double sided tape. It fits the window perfectly. Problem is it blocks some vision through the window but that's to be expected. One of the nice points is it sure keeps the cab cooler during hot sunny days in Texas and the cab temp can get 140 degrees inside. It seems to be made of aluminum, and flat finished. The louvers are fixed and not movable.

I have slept in mine before, the middle side windows crank open and you can leave the rear door open but with the gate up. I modified a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 CDX and elevated it over the wheel bed and in the front and back, one in the center (4x4 legs. Inflatable bed on top of it. Just don't sit up too quick your going to smack the roof pretty hard more than likely denting it good. It's old and supper light weight I can carry it by myself. So easy on and off. Power is brought from direct bolt up of 100 watt Black and Decker invertor through cab and rear sliding window. small fan, CPAP, radio, phone and 2 AA and 3 AA battery charger. A string of small Christmas lights all the way around is not in you eyes bright and not a hot light bulb either in bed. This is a later picture. I used to pull that pop up in the back. Nice to have it too but too dang big for an MJ that is a standard. It wanted to wag the truck when over 65. This pic is from outside Lake Charles (Sulfur) Louisiana while working Hurricane Rita. You can see the trees are just shredded. Rita's winds were stronger than Katrina's. Sugarfoot has been to her fair share of Hurricane's. Not one single time has she failed to start and deliver a day of work under the worst of weather conditions. Bullet proof 4.0. maybe grenade proof?

That silver MJ rig is a nice set up. Would have to go with electric in the back part as for a method of cooking. No open flame in that thing. But that's nice that you can stand up in the back. Wonder where he got that topper? Looks like it still leaves you some room for gear in the bed.

Dodge Dakota rear lights will not work either. I have looked at them they initially looks like a maybe but held them up to the rear end of truck and it was a NADA. Look like its been a few years on this thread, anything new come up?

The hazard flasher was broke off years ago and has never effected the brake lights. but one thing i noticed when I swapped out the bad fuse in it was that the next one blew too. So it appears there is a short somewhere but I also tried a 25 and it did not blow but also did not bring the lights back. Harness in the back is good, Pete, I cleaned it well. Also the bulbs are good and the grounds appear to be good.. I would have cleaned them while I was back there but they are held on with small Phillips heads and are very tight. No rust though and a ground on each one too. So no help so far. Any other SAWG's? I'm going to check voltage at switch today with a neighbors volt meter.

My factory glass rear window is fine, but it has always been missing the locking latch. Anyone got a spare laying around or a suggestion?
