RockMJ Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I just want to say this thread should be stickied! I picked up a set of 33" Toyo AT's wrapped around some Eagle Alloy 137's for cheap. I also got my wiring issues squared away and worked on the interior a bit. Oh, and I washed it for the first time! RockMJ

jimoshel Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Replaced the alternator and belt. Bearing went out on the alternator, freezing it up solid, and the belt broke trying to go around the non turning pulley. Found out some of the earlier alternators had both a grove for a V belt and the ribs for a serpentine.

deziped Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Dismantled the front brakes and greased up the slide pins and pad bars so all the moving parts slip and slide easier. Lubed everything that has a zerk in it. Lubed one end of the carden joint but couldn'r get to the front one as cross-member was in the way. Drilled a 5/8 hole through it so I could line up on the front zerk and broke off the needle about half way through getting it lubed.
