what did you do to your MJ today?

Installed a new 02 sensor. While I had the driver front up on ramp I noticed the oil dripping out the pass side axle. Must be an omen to get the seal changed out. Or I could just let more air out of the left front and keep the oil flowing to the left.

Finishing up painting floorboards, been putting it off for a year, PITB. Fixed a few of the leaks, I think the back slider is leaking also. The leaks will be a work in progress. New parking brake cable and headliner while I have the interior apart, new carpet will have to wait on sufficent funds.

make sure to check where the radio antenna comes in the cab. its behind a panel right in front of the pass door on the floor. mine was leaking like a mofo from there. image_209027.gif

Yeah, I think I will leave the kick panel off until I find all the leaks. I did put a new door seal on that side. And I need to replace the smokers window with a stationary one as soon as I can go to the pull a part. I "shimmed" the latch, which seemed to cure the leak there. I don't want to leave the cardboard in there forever. Well, back at it.

Was going to drive it to the shop Wednesday, but it wouldn't start. It would turn over just fine, but just didn't want to start, so I gave up, thinking it was the fuel pump or something related. Went to put it on the car trailer this weekend and decided to try starting again. The fuel pump pressurized the system and after a little more than usual cranking, it started and drove on the trailer, saving me from having to use the winch. When we got to the shop, the Comanche fired right up, drove off the trailer and into the shop. The body restoration starts tomorrow; I'll deal with mechanical issues later.

yeah see, you knew what you were doing

front end looks good. since thats a newer 8 slot you should of cut off that top piece above the grill and kept the full metal trim line. smoother line that way
