Overall i did notice a loss of steering from lock to lock but the overall driveability compared to what it was is night and day.

Used it today to haul 1000 lbs of scrap brake rotors and wheels to the scrap yard.... $116.00! 13.5 cents lb for clean scrap.... I still have a full 4x8 trailer stacked with dirty scrap to take in yet. I count this as my fringe benefits from work!

assuming this is the RK set up looking at the tie rod, so question, did it come with the knuckle bracket to allow the drag link to be set up in this design? :hmm:

this is the gen 1 kit....the gen 2 kit mounts the drag link under the knuckle with a common bolt to attach the drag link and tie rod and misalignment heim.....i like this set up better....i braced my bracket underneath to prevent cracking

Re-bled the clutch, re-wired the radio, and rotated the tires. Also, new pads on the wife's car, plus flowers for her and lunch out. Productive day off, to be sure.

Put insurance back on it to take a ride to the dump with the fiance. I am renovating a bathroom and bedroom so it's the work truck for now.

beat it up some more on the trail, used it as a platform to cut tree branches and found out how many inches of flex i have. i need some new stickers :(

I added a new comanche club sticker on the windshield, and then made it earn it's keep! Hauled in $155 worth of scrap aluminum.

Also, look in the background of the picture!

Installed a new wire-less Back-up camera (got it for X-Mas ) . Since I put on the Softopper , reversing was pretty much parking by brail but now its worry free . The unit has a infra-red feature so the screen image looks like daylight even when its pitch black at night  Also the signal booster picks up our local hiway cams placed at all the usual traffic jam areas

Where/how did you install the screen? Any pictures?

I can't find the thread about putting our MJs to work so I'll post it here. Hauled 1 yard of crushed brick weighing 1800 lbs in the 4cyl 89. The final feat was up a steep driveway and then a 90 degree back up onto my upper driveway. Piece O' Cake!!
