  1. X1000 I don't sell alot of stuff. But when/if I do, the onus is on me as the seller. I ship the part(s), and once the buyer receives them and is satsified with them, the money exchanges. If not, the buyer can send the stuff back, no harm done..... Call me old school too, but that's how I do business. Jeff try pulling that with any online company and let me know how it works for you. :teehee: aside from the few places that do COD
  2. brute: 33,700
  3. if you're talking about the ones on the bottom of the b-pillars, then yes. they take 4x6" speakers stock.
  4. i picked up a few goodies today from east bay auto parts in interlochen, mi while picking up an aluminum rim for my dad's car. they have good prices for parts, and list them on car-part.com. tailgate: $39 (they have another red one in similar condition, very usable with some surface rust, handle a little stiff but seams to still work.) two areas of rust: compare to old one: also got a full cluster: $10
  5. i'll watch for it too
  6. no worries, this one is going to be almost free by the time i scrap the truck it's in and get matching front/rear gears :D plus, no need to relocate spring perches since i'm not going for 5-6" of lift. i'm thinking more mild lift with metric ton load hauling specs. i may also be purchasing a wrecked 98 cherokee with only a few thousand miles on the rebuilt engine to update the power plant and interior. but then, money for my comanche isn't abounding since my wife and i found out she's pregnant recently :D and we're looking at buying a house since our one bedroom apartment will soon be outgrown.

    rust

i saw a thread, but no pics. as far as most rusty, you have to compete with me: http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5129&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 and it's only gotten worse over this winter. scroll down to the bottom of the first page for most recent pics.
  8. not much happening lately, but it should be getting something in the flavor of a factory d44 soon...
  9. so that's what a d44 looks like without rust...
  10. that 'zuk is going for over 5k right now...
  11. i believe the proper spelling is 'pukegoat' :teehee: nice truck :D
  12. afro-engineering? sounds like what i'd call ghetto-rigged. so no, i don't care about being p0litically correct.
  13. at 500 for both, you could almost get that out of the scrap value alone. can't wait to get a house with a garage, apartment complexes don't like parts jeeps :dunno:
  14. that's sweet, but overkill just like a hummer. i agree, working man's trucks are needed from jeep and ih. on that note, i know where an old international pickup is for sale a few miles from my apartment. i should check it out sometime.
  15. hmm i've got an extra set lying around off an 89 xj...
  16. yes you could do that.
  17. i just had that recall on my cherokee about a month ago, bumped up the fuel economy a few mpg
  18. i've had that happen at sears before, too. best i can figure is they're trying to make money of the credit card interest more than anything else. my wife use to work at jcpenny's, and all they cared about there was getting peopel to sign up for the plastic.
  19. while i like pete's, i think ^ is the best so far. my work comp has some plain stuff not worth posting up.
  20. are you planning to cut up your bed then, or make something custom? either way, what would it take you to part with your bed, if it's in usable shape? :D
  21. that depends on what you do to it and what drive train you have in it. a stock 2.5l mj isn't all that exciting, either.
  22. nissan titan, toyota tundra :D either way, i'd avoid those
  23. when i did mine, i got one from http://www.dpgoffroad.com/. right now, they're $155 for a stock 87-90 which is less than a regular napa one off the shelf. $175 for 91-97 i think it said, and 155 again for 1998-2001
  24. that's why we went to have my wife checked out, just to make sure nothing serious :D i talked to the father of the girl who was driving (who, by the way, is 16) as well as insurance, should be getting $500 back out of the whole deal. one of the passengers in the cavalier, an 11 year old girl, also went to the hospital for shortness of breath and a cut on her face, but should be ok. funny thing is, i may now help fix their car :wrench: :teehee:
  25. if they do it properly, it would be sweet. i can't say i'm all that fond of where our beloved jeep is going either, but this has some potential with aftermarket down the road. maybe.
