  1. i've used www.uship.com a few times with great results.
  2. thanks. I'll take a closer look to see if its the hard lines
  3. I had a new gas tank put in. I was working on my no blinker issue so when I kept turning the key on the fuel pump would come on. I started smelling gas so I looked under and noticed some fuel coming out of where the fuel sending unit goes into the tank. Is there something I can seal it with or do you think there is another issue?
  4. If you want cheap check these out.http://www.treadwright.com/shopnow/enti ... .5R15.aspx I have had a set on for two years with no issues. My nephew also had them on his Cherokee. Take a little more weight to balance but all is well.
  5. My local Harbor Freight carries it as well as auto body paint supply stores
  6. Checked power to fuse box and going out to the Red/Blue wire going into steering column. 12v. Also, swapped the blinker and flasher fuse. Didn't help. How do I go about getting to the switch in the steering column if thats what you would recommend next?
  7. the hazards do work. I will try that in the morning. thanks
  8. Ok. When I turn either blinker on I get nothing. I know the usual is the lights on the dash usually come on but I have nothing. After I check the power leaving the fuse box what would be next in line? The steering column ?
  9. Thanks for all the responses. The plastic shield won't be going back on the truck. My brother picked up new one local for me for $125.
  10. Can someone confirm the size replacement tank I need to get I have a 88 4.0 shortbed also what replacement tanks have you guys been buying. I have a leak but it has the shield on it so I don't know how bad it is. Just figured I better get it replaced instead of patching it. Oh and are they hard to replace?

    Prayers Needed

Thinking about your family. Hope all goes well.
  12. Found the source of my water leak in the drivers side floor. Seems PO must have been messing with the fuse panel and unscrewed it from the firewall. That is where all my water is coming from. I can seal around it by taking out the washer reservoir but my question is should water even be leaking into that module on the engine side of the firewall? Is my hood seal not doing it's job? Or is it normal?
  13. Well I don't drive the truck that much so all the water it is getting is from sitting. I have tried the baby poweder trick and it has helped me pinpoint the water in the firewall. It is not helping with this one though because I see the water in the hole on the passanger side inside rear cab. The rear cab wall is dry it is just wet kind of where the outside rear of the cab has that lip at the bottom of the box. That's why I think it has rusted through and is my water leak issue. I'll post pictures later.
  14. I have read many thread on leaks but I don't know if anyone has ever had this experience. I don't think it is my rear window leaking as I have sealed it very good but I think it is the seem on the back of the cab on the passenger side. Since it is not easily accessible it is hard to tell for sure. There is alot of rust down the seam and it is always wet on the inside of the cab near the seam. I'm thinking I have to take the bed off to tell for sure. Anyone else had this issue?
