  1. rustysoffroad.com has them, that's what i have in my cherokee. mj hasn't been touched yet.
  2. anyone got the size by any chance?
  3. wow this got :offtopic:, but oh well. give me a ring sometime about the grill. 616 446 2605
  4. yes, i bought one from here: http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2430 it's alright, now that i have it home and i'm working on it. typical rocker rot, the bed sides are shot due to the bed coming off a truck that had been used as a plow truck with a salt spreader. bed floor and inner sides, however, are solid because it had a bedliner in it. last night, i got the doors set up with hex bolts to replace the torx ones, and they mostly just have surface rust. some floor rot, not too bad. 117k miles isn't bad, fuel tank still needs to be installed and various things hooked up. the oil is good, tho...still looks new and is good for another 3k miles, according to the window sticker. all and all, a decent buy for 150 bucks. i'm going to be throwing in the 4x4 parts from a wrecked 89 cherokee i'm parting out and eventually weld up a flat bed with a roll bar and some custom tool boxes...probably this spring or summer. i'm off to a good start to beat your budget, too :D
  5. anyone know the size of the bolts for the rear proportioning valve on these trucks? i have some for where it bolts to the mount, but i need the size for the ones that bolt the mount to the frame. if you have either size, let me know please.
  6. do they bolt into something, or do they have nuts on them?
  7. so how long are the bolts for mounting the bed? i'm looking at getting a comanche that currently has the bed on it, but not bolted down, so i want to bring a few to attach it when i pick it up.
  8. depends on what you want, and what kind of budget you have. for that much lift, i'd recomend some long arms for the front, but you may be able to use either drop brackets or at least adjustable control arms. probably a good trac bar, perhaps a drop pitman arm to keep your steering angles ok. extended sway bar links or disconnects are also a good idea. for rear, are you going spring over axle or longer springs? long or short bed comanche? i've had more experience with the cherokee's, but i'm not sure how the size of the comanche effects driveshaft angle. you may need a slip yoke eliminator and driveshaft, or maybe just some good shims and a longer slip yoke will work for you. maybe someone else can give better advice for that matter?
  9. they will bolt up, but as previously stated the header and radiator support area are different, as well as the hood and hood latch set up. if possible, get an 87-up. if you're just talking about the fiberglass part that goes around the grill and lights, you should be ok, though. fenders are the same.
