  2. I will give his some time to see if he reads this post, It isn't much money it is the prinicple of the thing. I have already sent him an email stating if he doesn't respond I would post all the information
  3. What do you do when a forum member offers to sell you a comanche part, you send him the money, he acknowledges receiving the money and over 30 days later won't answer your emails or hasn't sent the part?
  4. My local shop stated I could bolt the T case up to my 2wd tranny (auto). I just read that it won't work and I need to get a 4wd tranny when i do the converision. Deal or no deal???
  5. Whetstone/Huchuca/ Sierra Vista Area Sounds Like changing gears to match the front and keeping the comanche rear end would be the way to go!!!
  6. I have never done a 4X4 converison before so I need help. From what I have read on the forum it sounds almost like a bolt in project. The project vehicle is a 89 Eliminator, 120,000, 4.0, Auto, PS, AC, 2wd. As it is a AZ vehicle no rust :D only damage is the rear quarter panel by the tailight and the rear bumper. I have search the forum and I still have a few questions: When replacing the rear axle with the axle from an XJ can I use the existing XJ spring perches? I will be using a TC including the driveshafts. from another XJ Auto 4.0 Do I use the XJ rear driveshaft or shorten the MJ rear driveshaft? I know I need to use the Comanche rear springs. The complete XJ front drive train will be used, A 3 inch lift kit will be install during repalcement. Any other tidbits would be appericated. I just read that you cannot use a 2wd tranny and attached the T case to it. The local used parts yard has told me in the past that I can make the connection between the 2WD Tranny and the T Case.???????
  7. I am converting my 2WD MJ to a 4 WD MJ and the question is about lift. I would like to run 31-10.50 15 tires. When using the XJ driveline am I going to need to install a 3 inch lift or what lift if any will I get after the converision using the stock XJ parts?
