  1. On mine the tips of the hooks are up against the air dam so I don’t think anything could fall out. Your MJ/XJ picture looks similar without the retaining clips.

  3. The main confusion comes from the previous years FSMs not having the correct procedure.
  4. Look at the registry spreadsheet and filter on trim for contains Olympic then click the links to see the pictures posted. But in the meantime these are in the 87-90 parts manual.

  6. For ‘88 the SportTruck decals were Black, Gold, Red or Silver. My guess would be gold in your case.
  7. If your vac lines are cobbled together, I suggest you buy the two piece harness. The item numbers are listed in crusire54’s tips.

Those are t-case and fuel tank skid plates, your build sheet shows it came with the skid plate group which should include a front plate under the front linkage. Many people remove it for easier maintenance access. And it’s not a metric ton so 4 leafs is correct.
  19. Nice, you need to put that on a bearing.
  20. Congratulations, that’s a pretty rare color.
  21. Nice! Looks like supply of functional O2 sensors is back.
  22. Isn’t it these? One is with pump the other is sender only.
