  1. Make sure the horn is bolted down tight. When I added the second horn it would not work until I tightened it down really well. The FSM also says to use the correct type of screw.
  2. :)
  3. I got a lot of problems with you people and you're going to hear about them! And now the feats of strength. F.C. :laughin: Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
  4. Humor and sarcasm are difficult to gauge on message boards. I get it now.
  5. Huh? Factory? Yeah, I think we all know those graphics did not come on Comanches, but they did come with these toys from the factory.

  7. Pete, this would go great with your Comanche Racing pins!!!
  8. Well. OK, it's only 1:18 scale but still pretty cool! It was made in '89 by Toy State with working headlights/rollbar lights and a wired remote control, old school tech like our trucks. Apparently it was available at Toys 'R' Us.

  10. On the way to the San Francisco auto show, a cool quarter mil. McLaren. I like the license plate.
  11. Just in time for the Abu DhabI Grand Prix, last F1 race of the season.
  12. I see in the 87-90 parts catalog there were two size shims, a 0.95 and a 4.00 mm. How much angle change is made for each 1mm of shim added/removed on stock suspension? Thanks.
  13. Any parts store will have the switch for less than $10, don't bother trying to unstick the old one. Just replace it, you don't want to do it twice.
  14. My 88, 89 and 90 do not have cruise control but the switch is the flat one shown for "with cruise control" in hornbrod's quadratec links. The round one looks like the one for the SJ. Here is the FSM instructions, if you do not have it, showing orientation of the switch & associated spacers/bushings.
  15. Yeah baby!! That's how it's done!!
  16. In which yard are these gems?
  17. When I got it the price list was gone
  18. Here's the HF 2 ton in use, worked great. Wait for the $179 special, maybe they're more now.
  19. The wrapped wires are the coolant sensor and the one just above the oil pan is the knock sensor.
  20. Those are some nice welds!!!
  21. In the immortal words of Sergeant Hulka “Lighten up, Francis.” It’s just a joke, here is the actual strip: http://dilbert.com/strips/comic/2013-02-11/
  22. ...yeah, I was bored at work.
  23. There are two types I've seen on XJs, the one below and a shorter version that terminates just before the body line changes.
  24. Just remember if you have a front skid plate it must be removed to use this front hitch, or at least modified.
