Plug #2 is the outside temperature sensor used with the XJ overhead console. My '90 MJ has it here's a picture of one I pulled from a '90 XJ, sensor on the left My fog connectors do not look like plug #1 they look like this

I had two issues with the EGR tube and the Dynomax header: 1-tube would not line up properly. I cut the tube, threaded the two pieces into place with a sleeve that fit over the two cut ends, tacked it into place then removed it and welded the sleeve on. 2-the threaded compression fitting would bottom out in the header bung before the tube tightened. Added a washer into the bung so the tube would bottom out higher allowing the fitting to tighten and compress the tube onto the washer.

Keep all your vac lines intact especially since you live in CA and have to Smog test every two years. A visual inspection is part of it.

It will fit on the driver side but will slide forward easier, the passenger side has a more pronounced floor cross brace that keeps it in place. And to Comanche County: the guy's truck I used mine on had a fuel leak in the engine bay with fire coming through the firewall. I shot some under the dash, some into the engine bay after just releasing the hood not opening it and then some from underneath the engine. All went out then we waited for the fire engine to show up. It would have been a total inferno if I did not have the extinguisher. Hitting a mine is a different thing all together.

I keep mine next to the passenger seat, it would probably fit on the driver's side but have not tried it.

Is the 4.0 an interference engine, i.e. is the valve travel lower than the highest piston travel?

If you go with WJ lower control arms you will have to grind off ~1/2 inch off the front and 1/4 inch off the back steel inserts. I just did this two weeks ago, more grinding than I expected.

Luk clutch comes with this. Is the pin falling out or the push nut? I remember some member tapped the hole and used a machine screw.
