If I get an external slave AX15 for my '88 MJ from a 93 XJ do I just need the different pilot bushing, matching t-case, new slave cylinder and throw out bearing? Do I need a different master cylinder?Anything else except t-case linkage? Thanks

I always clean the year area, but you're probably right, must have been a 6 not an 8.

The emission/vac diagram on the firewall stated conforms to California emissions requirements for 1988 model year and the diagram stated 173 cubic inch engine and showed a carburetor. I should have snapped a pic of it and the VIN.

O. K., I was at the Pick 'n Pull last weekend and saw a 1988 Cherokee with a 173 ci carbureted V6, straight from the vac diagram sticker. I did not think the 2.8 L (I assume) used past '86 or '87, when was it discontinued? Thanks.

I had a problem with my tilt also, was a very easy fix. I just had to zip-tie the cable down at the base to take up some of the slack.

Sorry, I meant the main body seal.

I recall people saying to purchase the'97 and up Cherokee seals because they are thicker.
