  1. This has everything you need to know about the MJ/XJ clocks. http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoDashClock.htm very easy to swap clocks from different years, I would recommend making a harness with the correct ends so you don't have to cut the vehicle's plug.
  2. Sorry, I don't have a part number. I just called them and asked if it was really available and he said nothing came up as not available. code online25, gets you $25 off.
  3. Safelite gives me a quote for a '90 Comanche:
  4. available at amazon: https://www.amazon.com/700874-glove-lock-assy-coded/dp/b0089kmbuu or ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/CENTURY-CROWN-VICTORIA-TOWN-CAR-CHROME-GLOVE-BOX-LOCK-LATCH-HANDLE-KEY-78-96/273655985092?fits=Model%3ACherokee|Make%3AJeep&hash=item3fb72af3c4:g:~CkAAOSw4ntcPDO-:sc:USPSFirstClass!94534!US!-1 or ebay (no keys): https://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-BLAZER-S10-FORD-F150-BRONCO-JEEP-CONSOLE-GLOVE-BOX-LOCK-LATCH-HANDLE-78-96/273645091490?fits=Model%3ACherokee|Make%3AJeep&hash=item3fb684baa2:g:E3YAAOSwVXRbt~s6:sc:USPSFirstClass!94534!US!-1 or original (no keys): https://www.ebay.com/itm/80s-Jeep-Comanche-Cherokee-Glove-Box-Latch-Beige-Cap/163378678133?hash=item260a20c975:g:3kgAAOSwwXRb74ar
  5. Welcome, don't forget to add it to the registry. https://comancheclub.com/forum/28-comanche-registry/
  6. Did the original gauge/cluster work properly before removal? If it did there's probably a problem with either the printed circuit board on the new cluster or the ribbon connection to it. Otherwise, there's probably a short somewhere (bad ground).
  7. In the above link you only need to look at "Dash removal" steps 6, 13 & 14 for removal of the panel. There are two ribbon connectors that have to be removed, one can be seen in "Dash removal 6" step 4, the other is in the middle behind his hand. You have to squeeze the top and bottom to release the clips, kind of a pain in the a$$. BTW, there are about a dozen bulbs.
  8. Pete, did yours look like this?
  9. A small piece of paper.
  10. Depends on condition, are all the parts there?
  11. Ahh, I knew the '92 had a bench so I assumed it was for the '89. I was thinking of possibly mounting my winch switches on the front of the XJ cupholder, keeping them within easy reach, the MJ one seems better since it's enclosed.
  12. Nice, another option for your '89?
  13. Did you ever resolve this problem?
  14. I have a complete recovery set for my wife's FJ Cruiser with its12K winch, have never used any of it other than pulling out some shrubs in our yard.
  15. Nice touch Pete! Merry Christmas
  16. On a side note, which cartridge are you using?
  17. Well done sir.
  18. Yup, that's why they're marketing it as a "lifestyle vehicle" not a work or utility truck.
  19. Thanks for posting these Pete! It really pisses me off that they do not show up in the mobile app.
  20. Get well buddy, we need you around here!
  21. Thanks G. The wiper motor stopped working on Monday. Have not had a chance to look at it yet but Pick N Pull has a 40% off sale this weekend and was thinking of picking up some stuff in case I need them.
  22. Are the windshield wiper and blower motors the same for 1990 and 1997 XJs? If not the same will the 97 work in the 90? Thanks.
  23. It probably will be expensive: From back in January: https://www.hotcars.com/jeep-pickup-price-expensive/ Speaking at the Detroit Auto Show on a wide range of topics, Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne (now deceased) eventually turned his ramblings toward Jeep’s upcoming light truck. According to Driver, he said that Jeep will take a similar approach to the new truck as it took with the Jeep Renegade, marketing it as a “lifestyle vehicle.” However, unlike the Renegade, the new pickup will be sold at a premium price well above similarly sized trucks like the Chevy Colorado and the new Ford Ranger—two trucks that Marchionne says won’t be competing with the new Jeep.
  24. I like how there's a female driving it at ~24 minutes in the release video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5qzwhlMUv8
