From what I remember, I put a flathead screwdriver between the vent and dash at the top, pressed down and out. There is a piece that can fall into the vent so be careful.

I've always read a front receiver hitch will not work with the skid plate. Maybe with some modifications it could work?

Received the OmixAda yesterday, looks identical to the new NTK/Bosch, 4 wires, steel body and resistance is 4.4 just like those two. Not sure if I'm going to try it out or just return it.

I do not think this is correct. The symbol is not the same as fog lights, it is the same as the high beam symbol. If you look at the factory wiring diagram in the above attached thread, the switch is only activated if the high beams are on, the switch is wired to the high beam circuit. Conversely, the fog lights turn off when the high beams are activated. These are the the fog and sport bar light switch panel symbols:

It must be the air flow is different now and the cable isn't being buffeted. You should probably zip tie the cable down better anyways. But, hey, a fix is a fix

Did the o-ring/spacer/o-ring come on a plastic "plug"? You're supposed to push the entire thing into the fuel line, remove the plastic plug and then press the line onto the rail. If there is no plug, place the spacer on the rail then an o-ring, press the line on, remove the line (o-ring and possibly spacer will stay in the line), install the last o-ring in the rail and push the line back on. Make sure to lubricate the o-rings.

Is the driver's the one with or without the bend in the metal attachment bracket? I have a cordovan (burgundy) one you can have, no charge.

It's plug and play, nothing else required except for a working bulb. OP wrote 1990 XJ.

The '90 and up light and harness are different, both power and ground are provided by the harness. I'm sure you can make your light work by only connecting the red wire from the harness.

Well, I just received a Bosch one. Looks identical to the new NTK: metal body, four wires out of the body and reads 4.5 ohms. I will try it and see but I'm not very hopeful. Edit: I checked resistance between A&B, 4.5 ohms just like the NTK, ended up just returning it. Interesting that both Bosch and NTK wete made in Spain, they must be from the same manufacture.
