  1. I bought the lower dash from this guy for Chunk. Id buy the deflector but I have the same exact deflector lol.
  2. Honestly, maybe a good weld right in that spot just might do it. Theres plenty of metal there since the engine mount is right there.
  3. I still need to get pics of the seats but looking in the catalog at the drivers side version of the power seat, I might be able to go to town on cutting and fabbing for the seat mounts. heh.
  4. The 87-90 blue cluster is rare as it was an 87 to early 88 cluster before the black cluster came along. You can find that cluster style with the older 84-86 XJs and 86 MJ's but they have a different speedo connection than their later counter part. As for the two spoke steering wheel, its uncommon but most of everyone swaps them out in favor of the stylish three spoke sport steering wheel.
  5. Youll need alot more than just the radio probably. Like the antenna, its wiring, the bezel, nut and speakers and any other wiring probably. What I find amusing is it has the full blue cluster but no radio and the two spoke wagon wheel.
  6. Holy crap! Radio Delete still in its place!!
  7. Fixed it for ya!

  11. Sounds like a good excuse to give the engine a good bath on the outside and pinpoint some oil leaks. Can’t say I have had anything similar except when I put the gasket base on my TB on, which was the wrong one so it had a vac leak. Guess that comes close.
  12. We’re getting there. If we could find more build sheets from the old days in say 84-86 AMC or Jeep vehicles, would could price them more together and make educated guesses for some build sheets.
  13. Kinda. The ones I had looked more like trailer rims oddly enough but my build sheet says styled steel wheels.
  14. Such an odd time. I have a NOS 2.8L emblem with pins.
  15. Damn petty thieves. The NOS one I have just has the pins and no sticky. Now the one I have the hardest time finding is the rear hatch Jeep plate. That one is a sticky one with no pins.
  16. Thats a very good pic of the nameplate location! Thanks for that! One mounting point should be clear enough for me to get the next one drilled when I go to do it. Almost looks like AMC went for double sided sticky and the pins to hold the nameplate in place. I got lucky and found one sitting at a dealer in AMC packaging so its definitely era correct.
  17. I don't know why but I dig the early Waggys more than I do the later ones. I mean sure its simple cosmetics on the outside but the inside is luxury. Ive been keeping my eyes peeled for early XJ stuff to have for my 84 (Chunk) and at some point I fell in love with the looks of the early waggys and said, yup, I am gonna have a faux waggy. Not sure if I will do the name plates though. Thats kinda weird that the XJW's I have seen lately havent had any headrests but my 84 does and its a base model!
  18. Welp one of the motors and assembly works. Gonna dunk the assembly into the electrolysis tank to make it look presentable.
  19. Ahh just curious. I plan to make my 84 XJ a faux Wagoneer at some point and I really don't want to drill into the header to offset the Jeep nameplate but I might end up going that route.
  20. Gonna do anything with that old waggy header?
  21. Went to AMC, got three power seats for chunk. Gonna test them and see if they work later today. I’ll edit this post with a pic of the three seats. One is a base, one is half a seat and the other is a full seat. I think two of them are drivers and one is a passenger.
  22. Yes there is. Not sure if they want to be known so it’s a secret for now.
  23. Thats a great question! There was a lot planned before covid hit and most of them were cancelled right then and there. Theres a few coming up in March but most are pretty far of a drive like at least an hour or two. Theres one in Surprise I might go to on March 27th. But theres not a lot planned for this year from a quick internet search.
  24. Found on the facebook feed but I have to share. This XJ is gorgeous! Goals for Chunk right here. Pick of the Day: 1984 Jeep Wagoneer with one-family ownership (classiccars.com)
  25. Makes sense if they have to be 3d printed now a days.
