  1. Lol pretty much and I hate it cause they teach us to go that extra mile with the customer but they don’t say anything about what to do with a discontinued part when a customer calls. My wholesale guys ask me about the older Jeep parts when those guys call to see if I have it or not in my stash.
  2. I would check all the latches that are bolted to the bed itself and see if they are tweaked. When I had my truck repainted I took all the hardware off and a lot of the welded nuts broke off so they had a little bit of adjustment to play with to get them right.
  3. Well, see that’s that’s the problem. Most dealers don’t want to help with NOS parts and most employees won’t go the length to get it for you either. Which is where I come in for us all. A dealer in NY shows to have it on there shelf. But list price is $156 on it if you go after it yourself. Shoot me a PM and we can talk more about it if you’d like.
  4. There is one harness kit left but Chrysler wants a premium on it.
  5. Lol I do. Actually they’re all 2 door XJ pieces but hey, cut to fit.
  6. Your bumper looks like it might be playing with your eyes too.
  7. I try to have some goodies in stock. Sometimes they go fast, others become a special order if they’re the last one left. Shoot me a PM and I can let you know what’s around still.

  9. FINALLY! Granted its all on the internet but thorough research was done!
  10. Is there anything we can do to help ya out? We might be able to fix something if something was wronged on our end.
  11. AC 2.5L of the Renix era is a bit tough to find. Took me a couple years and a lead in WA. I know where a couple of AC/Alt brackets are though.
  12. Indeed they are Pete. Lol, its across the valley which is like a 30 minute drive. He definitely does need a hand down there lol.
  13. Lol I looked further and it was serviced from 1983-2002. So the whole life of the 2.5L the gear ring for the starter was the same.
  14. You could probably get away with replacing the starter gear ring if thats what your thinking. They used to be serviceable at one point.
  15. No one makes 2.5L new though. Thats the dilemma we have you 4.0L elitists' lol. The 2.5L flywheel has 2 "fire" gaps for the CPS while the 4.0L has 3.
  16. I did this for absolute giggles one day. I barrowed my neighbors sander and either used 500 or 1000 grit paper and just lightly sanded the surface of an extra 2.5L flywheel I have. It looks great and doesnt seem to really have done anything other than make it look nice and get the crud off the surface.
  17. I’ll get ya a part number. Chrysler superseded the old cork to a single piece sometime later on. I am sure they do though, I would probably say they do for some later year 2.5L. I’ll shoot ya a PM with pics from the rebuild book on that seal.
  18. Lol yeah it’s a single piece seal, not part of the oil pan gasket. . The 4.0L got that split seal while the 2.5L got a whole seal that according to the 2.5L service book has to be carefully hammered into place.
  19. Why not? I say go for it. Ain’t got much to lose for rebuilding it. Also not sure if you know but the 2.5L RMS is a single piece. I dread doing it myself.
  20. Ahhh a glorious set up. I bet you the piston in the external is now letting fluid past it.
  21. The count down begins.
  22. So for a quick minute it ran and drove just fine? But now it’s doing it again? @Ωhmis it possible for something to kill a relay like this?
  23. No, us Renix 2.5L’s have the ISA motor. Similar to the IAC but bigger and on the front of the TB
