Using them takes some sense and know how in means of a stright stick holding the jeep up. Balance and coordination is key attributes for anyone using this jack. Its very functional and has winched me out of many holes before I was able to afford a mount a winch on the jeep. Since then I have yet to use it very much if at all these days. However I keep it in It's place and carry the extra weight as it does serve a purpose and can be used in many ways for any sort of recovery or trail repair that I find myself in. With my jeep having 37s and 8.5" of lift it does come in handy to lift my jeep under the front or rear bumpers. Makes for a easy way to right a inverted shackle for sure. Can they be scary sometimes, for sure, is it still worth it to have one, to me for sure.

Just had someone friday say I had a bastard rear end. That it was a cherokee with Toyota truck back half. Wtf? I even pointed out the jeep on the tailgate still though it was a toy with stickers. -

all cleaned up and ready for snacks. I really like the dividers mostly, and this is more a dry food box as well. Looking to get one of them fancy fridge/freezer coolers with having the dual battery setup. So look into that after a while perhaps after steering systems have been taken care of. -
Yet you own/ed more then one jeep...

Yeah they be same, swap em out. Rockauto.com -
I have had this same issue. Was said to hammer it a bit as suppose to be some adjustments in the lentgh, by i just ended up separating the rubber bushing at the top and jacked it all up. But it allowed me to lengthen the shaft to connect it. Which i then just drilled a hole through shaft at bushing to pin the two together. Worked. But i always thought about it when driving so i had swapped it out for a different one that bolted right in.

Well happy with the extra firm ride now and love being able to pick out where every bump in the road is. so now that the rear is little firmer and higher, I may need to deal with driveshaft length yet again. little vibes at 65. takes a little focus now to keep it stright though, seems to follow the road a bit. Now I know the steeri g is ready for updates which is why the tapped steering box in sitting on the shelf, about reckon time to get after that. Which means new parts and stuff for the 99 intake swap as well being it holds the newest style power steering pump setup. In the mean time it will do, i use two hands to keep extra control. I should still look things over and ensure things are good from the leaf spring swap. However I'm tinkering in front of the heater instead. Slept in and had quite a Relaxing day and thought i might repair my food box for the back of the jeep comanche. Now things are coming together with a better layout its time I do this repair that has bugged me since I bought it at the yard sale for $6 over 10 years ago... man time flys when having adventures. great adventures at that and I need my food box lid to stay on. So always what do I have on hand to fix it. Well thankyou junk drawers and all the great products Stanley offer. scored a couple shed lock hinge things. Those shall work great with well, per my typical repairs I use self tapping screws, but I think the riveting would be best and I have more of those then the screws at the moment. Plus i think the screws would work themselves out over time. whichever it works and I'm a happy camper! -
