  1. yup, it's usually an oval circle with 4 digits inside that represent the manu date.
  2. have you run a compression test?
  3. nothing wrong with farming out some stuff to a pro.
  4. just getting broken in
  5. no worries. I cleaned up the thread for ya.
  6. front wheelwell liners are still available new if yours have turned to dust.
  7. yes, the rear slider is glued in with urethane that will need to be cut out with wire. be careful, as it's really easy to accidentally cut into the B-pillar trim or even the sheetmetal of the body. the new one I bought came with a roll of glue for it. the CRL is the only option out there, so if you shop around on amazon you might be able to score a better price. be prepared to deal with some surface rust under the urethane. it must be properly treated for the new urethane to adhere properly.
  8. I've heard plenty of good things about the new batch of E-bikes though some of them are mighty expensive.

hard to do anything about the door jams, but I always store my trucks/trailers with the fuel door left open. otherwise it's a guaranteed wasp nest in there.
  10. you can probably just punch it off. the nuts are not usually welded on very well.
  11. pretty sure it's all wired up different. but you can easily swap in an 87-90 cluster with tach.
  12. we spent a good hour taking planes and cars apart and reassembling.
  13. yes! do it!
  14. spotted one today in Kentucky on I75 headed south on a trailer. dark colored and dusty. I think someone saved another one.
  15. out of curiosity, what are you comparing the ride to? it's not fair to compare it to a modern car.
  16. we tow a bunch with the Durango (although the trailer is only half the rating of the durango) and I wanted a tougher tire after we had a tread separation of the P-rated tires on the way back from Florida. I figure when the truck is doing truck things, it is a good idea to get a truck tire.
  17. nope, but it is important news to know. try dropping to 25 and see what happens.
  18. ohhhh. lots of variables in there so it's hard to just blame the tires. lift coils are notoriously stiff. cheap lift shocks are notoriously stiff. 4.5" on short arms is notoriously stiff.
  19. the 88 in the driveway has flange head bolts with no washers at all.
  20. are they d rated or e rated? stock suspension? what shocks? you can always drop the pressure a bit to experiment. back when the MJ was my daily I ran 25 in the BFG ATs. more recently I put LT rated tires on the old Durango (no change in size or pressures) and didn't notice anything different over the previous P-rated stuff.
  21. there's a big thread about bolts in the link in my signature. maybe it has them? don't forget the 5th lower bolt for the bumper bracket.
