there is always a club card in my wallet. ya just never know when it might be needed. gave one away just a hour ago to the guy who sold me his TJ rims because he mentioned seeing a black MJ in the area on a regular basis.

If I had more skills (or at least a welder) I'd be all over that plan as my eldest nephew is pushing 8 and the little Jeep is becoming a bit of a squeeze. the beauty of the power wheels is that they can only get into so much trouble at 5mph. there are some PW websites out there and I've seen 4wd conversions, lifts, 18volt conversions and all sorts of crazyness.

those aussies really know how to build an RV. there seem to be a few companies down under doing offroad trailers.

I did the same thing.

I installed mine right before my trip out west and they were an absolute godsend on the freeway in kansas in summer with no AC! but the drivers side quickly showed it couldn't keep the rain out no matter what I did. I still have the pass side in place and usable. in fact, it's my trail mirror now. I stuck a 3" convex mirror to it and fold it out to see what the rear tire is doing.

that suuuuucks.... down here in georgia I don't screw around with the wildlife. I lived the vast majority of my life in the suburbs of michigan and this place feels like a jungle. everything is just so dang aggressive! I regularly spray the perimeter for creepy crawlies ( we have a couple acres backed up to woods so I go as far as the 3 hoses together reach) and concede the back acre of woods to the critters for the entire summer time. I'm a live and let live kind of guy but this place is just nuts. like, cleanse it with fire kind of nuts. I say kill it all!!!

impressive truck! your "big Jeep" skills are spot on, but you need to step up the "little Jeep" game. I added things like better gearing, better tires, better steering wheel, and a multi-position seat (for my older nephew), but the best part is under the seat hides a lawn tractor battery. still only 12 volts, but gives a ton more play time!

also do the headlight relay upgrade too

not too modern though. it simply wouldn't be the same if it wasn't just a little bit scary.

another 2.5 is by far the easiest fix. what happened to the engine?

wanted to include my trailer in our VIN registry and figured to ask before I go crawling around in the dirt on a wild goose chase rather than after.

I still have her. later this summer I hope to get here rolling again now that I have a corrosion free throttle body and linkage to install.

the hardest issue to overcome will always be that there are a plethora of ways to refer to the hunk of metal behind the engine that shifts gears around. even google doesn't know that Peugeot, ba-10, ba-10/5 puke-goat, transmission, tranny, giantpileofcrap, boat anchor, etc are all needed in the search.
