  1. Yeah, it's a hard choice to make. I'd hate to blow a huge wad of cash on repairs to an old 3.7. Is it running rough because the spark plugs are dirty? My sister has that oil-leak issue in one of her GMC's cylinders and her plan is to simply replace the $2 spark plug on a regular basis. It's not a horrible plan.
  2. I prefer the old look. so many are changing it up that old is new again. just don't throw anything away so you can go back later if you so desire. you can swap just the front header panel in. the only hiccup will be that the corners of the new panel are more rounded in the corners and it doesn't quite perfectly match the old fenders in that area. I can't find a closeup, but the spot is right there at the upper/outer corner where the fender touches the header.
  3. if your front visually appears a bit lower than the rear, a pair of spacer pucks will bring the front up to match.
  4. for better or for worse, tech will dominate the future. everything is getting more and more complex. that's why my folks are getting the longterm Mopar warranty on the Durango. But I come from the rust belt, and those roads kill everything. I shudder at what will happen when self-driving cars have been on the road a few years.
  5. for one-upping the guys when tailgating?
  6. so when did sitting become just too much effort?
  7. this one seems... safe.
  8. the booster might be old and tired. don't forget that the rear brake lines have a special braking procedure. see the link in my signature
  9. coming along nicely! though the bumper end caps are throwing me off a bit.
  10. soooo, to save time by changing prices instead of writing up a new listing? that's less awesome but I'll allow it.
  11. so it's a way to skimp out on ebay fees? I'm ok with that.
  12. yes. not sure on the relay. charcoal canister still works without the EGR because it addresses a different problem (aka: what to do about gas fumes escaping the gas tank). it's been a while since I've looked at a charcoal canister, but shouldn't it have a second vacuum line going to it?
  13. this isn't the first example I've noticed, just the most recent because I need to replace the hose on my folks' trailer. NO ONE is spending a grand on a stupid propane hose. note that he's sold 2 or "them" so far. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Propane-Hose-Adapter-1-lb-to-20-lb-Propane-Conversion-Hose-LP-Trip-Grill-4-Ft/253721909587?hash=item3b13011953:g:x4EAAOSwDyBbN9lQ
  14. oddly enough, one of the rims still has the machining marks in the surface. maybe that one is aftermarket? either way, they are going to look sweet. tires still have some life in them.
  15. Just a reminder to everyone to make sure you're updating your build thread too. took my half-a-jeep into town to pick up some new shoes. (the shoes will be for the Libby)
  16. I put my mini-CB up above. I have a fullsize model that will eventually replace this and it'll be going in the dash where the radio was.
  17. just scored a set of 5 TJ Rubicon rims with 245/75s on them. pics in the morning
  18. it pains me to not go get these... https://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/wto/d/mazda-ranger-15-rims/6624942394.html
