  1. nice enough for hangin' on the wall!
  2. yup, the VIN will give you the build date (plus other build data) so you'll know for sure what it is. what are your plans for the truck?
  3. that post was from 10 years ago, I doubt the same source is still available. But this was just posted in the classifieds.
  4. This thread is for all those weird "solutions" you've found out there in internet land. I'll start with this one spotted by Bo in a junkyard. He said the guy pulled the cord to fire it up and the truck dragged the XJ carcass out of the weeds with ease.
  5. it almost looks like he was using the bag as a shifter boot.
  6. yup, pretty sure a transmission heater wasn't a thing for our trucks.
  7. There is a chance I'll be in southern Cali this fall though.
  8. should be a writeup in the link in my sig.
  9. Peugeot on the right showing the line of bolts running along the top (and bottom)
  10. The peugeot's case splits into a left and right half. the AX-15 has a front and back half.
  11. 87 + 4.0 + manual = Peugeot unless it's been changed of course.
  12. that is a bright engine! are you planning on painting the truck?
  13. can't catch a break.
  14. would if I could. not sure I could even make that drive in a day.
  15. need your VIN so we can look up the build codes for ya.

I do get a kick out of the reused codes. I'm guessing the Longhorn Southfork Package is for a Ram?
  18. I've seen them pop up on ebay now and again
  19. they look wet. be aware that once they dry they may not look quite as shiny. If you wet sand them and hit them with a clearcoat they can look almost new. Just some clarification, Rustys sells metal inserts that hold trailer lights, as opposed to plastic factory MJ lights. I've heard a lot of quality issues for fitment.
