if you grab the driveshaft does it wiggle at the t-case end?

dang it! the frame on my trailer stops 8 inches short of that spot.

I've pulled my share of beds and don't remember ever seeing one. though I wasn't looking specifically for it. would be awesome if it was because that would allow me to properly date my MJ trailer.

yup. even 2dr XJs are too small for a resto. but if you're talking about aftermarket bigger flares, the XJ flares seem to also work on MJs.

all it takes to bleed the system is a wrench and a helper to push the pedal and sometimes you don't need the helper. once you get it bled and working again, try not to hold down the clutch pedal any more than absolutely necessary (especially at stop lights). pushing on that pedal is what pushes the fluid out so the less you do it, the longer it'll last. then it's a matter of monitoring it and topping it off as needed with more brake fluid.

don't the current 1500s have IRS? or am I misremembering it.

your actual build sheet would be longer, but a lot of info was lost before Chrysler computerized it all. if you go look at a later VIN you'll see what I mean. There's always a chance you can find your original still in the truck. it has been found under benches, behind the rear wall panel, behind a door card or even tucked up in the dash. doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind the various locations.

this might be #25. the interior was redone and the current owner doesn't know what happened to the tag.

meh. I kinda stopped caring about what they put out since I'm apparently no longer the target audience. having said that, I feel it steals too many styling cues from the budget Jeeps, but my guess is that's what they're going for.
