  1. can you snap a closer image and email it to comancheclub@hotmail.com? our forum software auto-shrinks it and I can't quite read it.
  2. pics? we're all big fans of pics.
  3. so this is the end of phase 2, right?
  4. the little tube is the vent, and it's already pretty dang short.
  5. wait, unless shortening the intake tube is what does it? I'm a little fuzzy on all that.
  6. ran out and peeked into what I think is an 18 gal and I don't really see any way to add capacity.
  7. if there's a way to shorten up the tube inside, then maybe? I don't remember hearing of anyone trying.
  8. I don't really see a lot of... windows in that thing, so I doubt it's going to be the main tow rig just yet. Moab is awesome.
  9. I don't remember a rubber stopper at the bottom.

"Custom" being the trim level (essentially means base model) and Metric Ton being the suspension package.
  11. love that patina!

  13. start from scratch, don't use factory wires. none of them are made for real power anyways.
  14. and she's upgraded to Epic!
  15. I'd pay that $5 always a good day for just one of those things. getting all of them? score!
  16. I hate those little guys
  17. normally I would say that the bumper can be whacked back into shape, but XJ front bumpers are fairly plentiful and cheap.
  18. build sheet shows Z5B, which says 1800lbs, but is the same code as other metric tons so I'm inclined to think it's a reused code. has the 44 and the 15x7 steel wheels, so I think I'll give it to them that this was a factory Metric Ton (until they swapped out the leafs for lift packs).
  19. all years of MJ/XJ use the same windshield glass. bonus points if you get the 97+ rubber trim (the glass itself still glues in, the rubber trim just replaces the metal trim)
  20. it is very likely that the tank itself holds more than 23 gallons. in theory the shutoff triggers before it is completely full, but if something has gone wrong, it might not stop on time.
  21. well, I added it to the registry so we'll see what the VIN says. beautiful truck though. too bad it was a repaint.

a-yup, the joys of ancient and poorly maintained digital information
  24. the build sheets are not infallible, especially the tank size (a LOT of them say 20 gal for some reason, which was never offered in an MJ )
