  1. I've had the needle buried a couple times. I would say probably 90-95ish. Didn't have a tach at the time so not sure what the engine was running. With the 3.73's and 31.5" tires I can cruise at 70-75 all day long. @70mph I'm running 2k RPM
  2. Xwhatever on by-passing the ballast resistor. One less thing to potentially be wrong in the future as well.
  3. For what it's worth, I have had success with the Carquest blue box sensors (Made by Wells)
  4. Definitely put a mechanical gauge on to confirm your pressure. Some of the kits have a long enough hose to run up to the cowl so you can confirm while driving.
  5. Maybe pull one of the over load leafs out and see where it sits? Unless, you have a buyer for your leafs.
  6. There will be a good amount of NAXJA members out there. I won't make it this year, hopefully next year.
  7. Spend some money on something that is going to last. Dbo makes bolt in metal replacements
  8. I would simplify the 4WD linkage and pick up the boostwerks linkage.
  9. No pictures yet. But I got my RE CAD brackets/ adjustable lowers installed yesterday. The arm angle looks good. The lowers have a bend in them, but doesn't hang too low. Not planning on rock crawling anyways. Should work well in the sand. I'm guessing that I will be looking for better shocks soon.
  10. Not too much to update. On my days off it has been raining, and was spending most of my off time with family. My sister and her husband left for Japan again last week. Received my DBO stubby recovery bumper just after new years. My friend is going to paint it for me. I want to upgrade the steering box spacer at the same time I install the bumper. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I will install my adjustable LCA's and CAD brackets. Also, still need to install my new H4 housings/bulbs, and "reverse lights"
  11. I believe that I have a full gauge cluster available.
  12. Check/adjust/replace TPS. Disco TCU and attempt to shift manually. Adjust TV cable. Etc.
  13. Just pick up some 17's with 3-4" BS.
  14. Follow cruiser's tips to eliminate the C101..
  15. I think I have harness in my garage. Was going to use it for my project, but found a running and driving heep. PM me an offer
  16. I definitely want some kind of swing out tire carrier for my MJ eventually. Depending on the bumper/hitch I end up with for the rear on my MJ will help decide the route I want to go. I want to go simple-ish. As in, one step to open swing-out carrier, next step open tail gate.
  17. 831xj on Naxja, did some custom U-bolt eliminator plates SOA on a F8.8. I wanna say ended up about 4.5" http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1124062&page=2
  18. The AGM batteries at most any of your local parts stores are made by East Penn. Less expensive, than the Made in Mexico Optima. Only reason I have an Optima in my MJ right meow is the fact that it's about a decade old and only cost 15$. Otherwise, go to costco and pick up a 34 or 34/78 Battery for under 100$ and have a 3 year customer satisfaction warranty replacement.
  19. All NP242 equipped XJ/MJ had the elec. switch. The plug should be there underneath to connect it.
  20. Definitely follow Cruiser's tips. And be thankful you are not working on a 70s-80s honda with all of the non-labeled, misguided vac lines!.
  21. Then you will tell yourself.. "Could have had a V8"!
  22. FWIW, I run Amsoil Universal ATF in my AW4 and T-case. I have als oused Dex/Merc and ATF+4 in the t-case with no ill effects.
  23. Some Zu 44 also have 4.30 gears. I would pull the cover and confirm. Or rear the axle tag if it is there.
