assuming she got her $200 back, sounds lucky that she did so i'd say your ahead. i think the other post is on the money, this guy needed a done deal and was willing to give up $100 for the possibility your friend might balk. two simple choices now, if you had negotiated for $500 from the beginning, would she still have bought it? if so, go get it. but, I say a rat smells like a rat and another deal will come along.

Struck out at the jy today. (+ Renault 5/LeCar discussion?)

i remember the super 5 turbo, or more specifically the race versions. it was wicked looking. ahead of it's time almost in that you could see some kid today taking a stock 5 and throwing the body kit on it and "tuning" it. i just remember how cool the big meats looked on the back. don't know the law in Conn., but take it to, or call, a commercial tire dealer, i.e. large truck tires, and see if they could do it. When I managed a commercial fleet in PA, we could do sidewall patches but they had to put a trianglular piece of rubber over top of it on the outside to identify it for the DOT man.

88XJ, in the near future I'll start a PM to ya to 'splain the super double secret MJ/XJ purchase plan afforded to those who reside in, or at least were born in, the state of Wiscahnsin. I picked up on it a few months ago and called them out on it. I determined the avg. purchase price of a RUNNING MJ/XJ for a Cheesehead was around $350. Of course all the boys from Wisco deny any wrongdoing. But, recently I deciphered some coded messages here on the forum that referred to a 100 mile radius centered on Pat's (Jeepco) house known as............ A R E A 52! Well, if I elaborate any more, I could compromise certain information and very likely my safety. murofpeeJ no uoy egassem ylterces ll'I.

You got off easy. You went from having no truck at all to no truck for just a month. What you need to see and respect from this situation is that your father is giving you another chance to prove you are mature enough to be responsible and make the most of the opportunity he has given you. As noted by someone else, 4!! suspensions in a school year is a lot, and I'd venture to say the severity of the punishment given to you by the school, and your parents for that matter, are based on the fact these are not the first acts of disrespect for authority you have shown. Enough of that though, we are not here to be your surrogate parents and pile on the beat down. Except for a few other members that are still in what I would consider their impressionable (i.e. haven't had enough life experience yet) years of their lives, the overwhelming majority of guys here are telling you from experience that they went through a similar phase in their life, be it for a year or several years, including me. Now, having lived life a reasonable amount of time, IMO @25yrs old and up, they've experienced enough actions and re-actions on how they have lived their life to be able to reflect upon it and offer some constructive critiscism to the next generations. I know it's all preachy, but think about it, this same situation has been going on since the beginning of time. So, you're not expected to be perfect because nobody else has figured it all out yet either, i.e. the parent/child relationship thing, and never will. After all of that crap I mumbo jumbo I said above I can sum up what I'm trying to say like this: give respect where respect is due (your parents etc.), take responsibility for your actions, don't make the same mistakes over and over. This is WahooSteeler...........OUT.

i remember seeing that way back when, and i also think it is super nice. absolutely love it. was kind of disappointed though when i saw he hadn't done anything to the interior yet. i'd love to see it finished out with the interior upgraded too. notice on his link the rubicon stickers on the front fender. i kinda like 'em. also horbrod, notice his euro amber turn markers above the fenders.

Center Console *Write up with Pictures*
WahooSteeler replied to 88XJSport's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
dragon, i've seen those cupholders you are talking about on ebay. i want to switch over to those also from the one in front of the console lid, just haven't bought one yet. about $20 i believe, so a trip to the JY first would probably be worthwhile. -
was that an old trail 70 honda i saw in the one picture?

yes, no numbers showing at all. i know what you're saying about seeing the numbers in the right light. it would just piss me off that right after i pull apart the dash and put in a new bulb the actual clock goes. but more importantly, it was working right before i pulled the fuse and replaced it, and it was the correct amp fuse, i.e. not like it was a 30amp in place of the 10 and fried it. pissed............
