  1. LOL, not necessarily on a 4.0! Hell, I bought mine with 210k! But $3k is still a bit high on a 20yr old 200k truck. Then again, if I drove it and it ran as well as they say, which is VERY possible as we all know, I'd probably give up $2500 for it which ain't too far off. $2k grand I'd be all over it. **Edit, that is if I was in the market for one. Lovin what I gots already!
  2. A little high based on miles, but seems vury nice......... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Jee ... dZViewItem
  3. I'm with Taz............
  4. yeah, i just went to glamour shots last week lol!!
  5. ok, here i am.................
  6. actually i think i'd like it too if it had some 17 or 18s and lowered, the Dubs are just a little too much IMO. and minus the woodgrain steering wheel as previously noted, because otherwise, it does look very clean. there are a ton of rides out there today that could be very nice looking if the mentality wasn't "let me jam the biggest wheel in here that i can".
  7. Tracker, I was gonna hold off on posting your first one since it might be obvious w/my avatar and posted quote in my sig, but it's a great line. Not to be picky, but the exact line is "what we're dealing with here, is a COMPLETE lack of respect for the law". And the second one is Eddie Murphy in 48hrs when he's in the cowboy bar. "I'm your worst nightmare, I'm a "brotha" [sic] with a badge". Good one.........
  8. ".....so what this Jefferson dude was sayin was, "hey, if we don't get ourselves a cool new set of rules, and like pronto, we'll just be bogus too."
  9. this may be a little butchered.... "i like fast cars and fast women. back home in my car club my buddies call me "the cruiser"." "shoulda called you the dork" "why'd ya join the army son?" "well, my grandfather was in the army, my father was in the army, and my brother was in the army. i figured i better join up before i got drafted." "uh, son, there ain't no more draft." "there was one?"
  10. nuthin like Dubs on an MJ........check it http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/car/652703118.html :teehee:
  11. SuperDub, yeah you're missing something.........about $3 grand LOL. That one's been out there for awhile.
  12. JT, Matthew McConaghey in Dazed and Confused. One of the greatest lines of all times. He was so good at being a cheeseball in that movie. And how about Ben Affleck? Both of them totally unknown at the time. "Hey man, got a joint?" "Uh, no, sorry man". "It'd be a lot cooler if you did".
  13. did you run all your fuel out for the winter or put fuel conditioner in? those needle valves can get really gummed up if not. did you take the carb apart when you cleaned it?
  14. 69camaro, or maybe it's because they heard you have a big knife!
  15. LOL Hornbrod, I HATE those things too, they are so overpowering. that's why i joke about giving them away as prizes ha ha!
  16. BPM, you're right, she DOES play the blame game. maybe with a win the chip on her shoulder got a little smaller. i'd argue her second win will be more important than her first though so nobody can say it was a fluke etc.
  17. Lewt, we're all big Comanche fans here, obviously, and we love reading about other owner's projects and buildups, but we don't have time to read such long drawn out detailed explanations of everybody's builds. please try to shorten it up a bit next time :D
  18. Yeah gixxer, I was surprised none of the other VA members jumped on it. made it kind of fun though, so you da man for abstaining.
  19. zukiDave, does your explanation mean that here at the Club we should call you Manche? :brows:
  20. AND THE WINNER IS........HORNBROD!! Yes, the University of Virginia Cavaliers, who are also known as Wahoos (I won't go in to when/where that came to be, a long time ago for sure though). So it's my favorite college and pro football teams. Yes, as both Hornbrod and JT mentioned, I live about 25 mins from C'ville. My Dad and one of my sisters went to school there. Dad played football there in the 50s, so we've had season tix ever since. Kinda of a diehard. As for the Steelers, well I was about 8-10 when they won their first Super Bowls, so like any kid, I jumped on the bandwagon. Stuck with them ever since though and then amazingly enough I lived in Pittsburgh from '02-'06 which only solidifed my allegiance. Hornbrod, what's your address? Fresh Pine, Vanillaroma, or Pina Colada?
  21. saw the highlights on espn. she's hot and she can drive. glad the monkey is off her back.
  22. no winners yet...........JT got a little warm
  23. any brats left over? w/peppers and onions of course!
