Made it back to Pittsburgh and rolled 224k out on the turnpike. Thanks all for a good weekend even though the sun was trying to kill us.

Managed to hit 20.75 mpg total for the trip. My truck loved the highway driving I'll post the few pics I took.

I know there are clubs and car shows. But I haven't heard of any Jeep only shows out here. The clubs probably put something together but I don't have any contact with any of these clubs.

More pics from the past weekend.  I think everybody had a great time - I know I did.  Next year the show is moving about 40 minutes away to Carlisle, PA but we're already planning another Pow Wow in York, PA to coincide with the show.

@ComancheKid45 always a show favorite - the Walker Evans Comanche:

@Carlos newly acquired, and trusted her enough to drive up from Virginia:

@Minuit - High Output goodness drove all the way from Tennessee.  Amazingly quiet on the inside, with the best stereo setup you will ever hear in a Comanche:

Below are all pics I am borrowing from other posts earlier in this thread.  Thanks to the photographers.  Yes, we really won the Club Participation Award.  Maybe next year we get our own class instead of being lumped in with the Cherokees:

Well, that's a wrap on over 1500 miles in the MJ over the weekend. I made it to Pennsylvania and back with absolutely no trouble, hiccups, or even any worries. The truck was smooth and quiet the whole way - a real pleasure to drive on long trips. Even in the extreme heat, the temperature gauge never reached 210 even on a long hill. This reaffirms my complete confidence in my '91 for any kind of long trip. This was also my introduction to bringing my own vehicle to a car show. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be entering my truck in more shows in the future.

This was an amazing weekend and I wish we could have things like this all of the time. It was great to meet everyone. @kryptronic was an incredible host and an all-around great guy who I happen to have A LOT in common with. @SublimeDom777 made us some absolutely delicious food as well, including some of the best cake I've had in my entire life.

I look and feel kind of like a boiled lobster (for those who can't tell in the pics, I have very fair skin and burn very quickly in the sun even with sunscreen, but never get a tan), but it was totally worth it. I'd hop back in the truck and do it all again tomorrow.

Misc. notable stuff:

- My last-second A/C compressor swap and recharge held up beautifully.

- I averaged a little over 19mpg throughout the entire trip, with one tank being over 20.

- I had the only automatic Comanche in the CC group, and maybe the only one in the show.

- @Pete M your bedliner is now within easy reach. I'll keep it safe in the meantime :))

- I managed to stop myself from buying too many radios. In fact, I bought none. I did bring home a D44 and a power mirror switch though, so I think it evens out. Both will be featured on my build thread in the near to far future.

- TWO BIG THUMBS UP for cruise control, added just in time for the show!

Thanks for the shout-out! The MJ in picture#4 is also mine. I managed to pop a wheel cylinder on the rock course. Hahaha

I heard your blue truck had an issue on the course, but didn't realize it was that truck.  I edited my post and tagged it correctly.
