neohic Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I really like the idea of them. The execution though seems to fall short with me. Pretty sure it's the vertical plate mounts in the rear and the "IKEA flat box" bolted together look that kills it.

Seems like throwing anything heavy up there would be terrible for your CofG. In the end, I think this will end up being a very expensive mounting rack for offroad lights.

The fact that it has no rear bars is odd. Unless you're hauling ladders, and have a full ladder rack, I don't see much of a use for a roof rack on a pickup since it's such a small space. Just my .02.

Right lol, throw up a picture for some feedback and suddenly everything gets personal I'm just happy to see companies putting out new products for the MJs. Wouldn't really work with my build, or garage, and $649 BEFORE powder coat is a little crazy to think about.

If it were a light bar, held a long jack across the back window, fire extinguisher on the inside behind driver's door........doubled as a roll bar..........talking heavy hardware, something like that would be pretty cool.

PCO6 Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 If it had a removable extension piece that covered the bed it would be useful for carrying kayaks, canoes, etc. or possibly attaching an RTT to. No doubt you'd be looking at $1,000+ though.
