A lot of my favorites have been said already, but I've got some that I'm really surprised that no one said yet. Vice Grip Garage, Junkyard Digs, D&E in the Garage,  TFL (all their channels),

WatchJRGo, Deboss Garage, RegularCars Reviews. A bit less known but also good are: Junkyard Dave (presently custom-building an AWD, Hellcat powered Charger wagon made from Magnum, Challenger and TrackHawk parts, amongst other projects), TheSketchMonkey (redesigning past and present cars), D.I.Y AUTO SCHOOL (warning to sensitive ears, this guy's LOUD and swears a lot but he is a master of his craft for auto body and repair), Wrench Every Day (really more into it now that Jared is the host), and of course, those crazy Brits from Bad Obsession Motorsport!! :applause:

I'll second Vice Grip Garage: https://www.youtube.com/c/ViceGripGarage/videos

Funny, down to earth wholesome guy who obviously knows his stuff.

Didn't see DiResta mentioned yet?: https://www.youtube.com/user/jimmydiresta
He has a lot of various restoration videos but he's a old school YouTube maker that's done a lot to help out the newer channels.

Odd Tinkering has a good amount of good restoration videos of various kinds: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCf_suVrG2dA5BTjJhNLwthQ

If anyone likes furniture this guy knows a lot about restoring high quality American furniture: https://www.youtube.com/user/johnsonrestoration

This Old House, nothing more needed to say:

you'll start to get picky about the locks you buy, that's for sure. :D

also, the top few comments are usually gems.

also, also:  after you've watch mayube 20 of them and gotten used to his cadence and mannerisms, search out the 4 April fools videos.  don't go right to them, or it's not as hilarious.

I also love VICE GRIP GARAGE. Also JUNK YARD DIGS and JUNK YARD MOOK. Another funny one is PUDDINS FAB SHOP. WRENCH EVERY DAY is great, as well as TAVARISH.

An awesome food channel is YOU SUCK AT COOKING.

A great general arts and crafts channel is EVAN AND KATELYN.

Anything from MARK ROBER is great. And SMARTER EVERY DAY, and STUFF MADE HERE, all great for science and engineering

I second Matt's Off Road Recovery and Fab Rats. Those guys are just down to earth, good guys. Paul especially from Fab Rats is really fun to watch, and I've learned more about fabrication from his channel than any class or project I've ever done!

And I know he works on Toyota's mainly, but Dirt Garage does some awesome stuff in his build videos, plus the wheeling is great when he hasn't broken something the week before

Maybe a blast from the past for some of you guys, but Les Stroud, otherwise known as Survivorman, has a youtube channel. Most of his content is just uploads of his production TV series, but there is some youtube-only content and it's all pretty good stuff, all legit survival info.

https://www.youtube.com/c/SurvivormanLesStroud

The directors commentaries on the shows are pretty cool if you're a fan of the original show, and I think only a YouTube thing. The Bigfoot series is interesting as well, in that he approaches everything with a very open mind and just kinda touches on every little aspect of the subject without trying to lead anyone in any particular direction. One of his latest series is Wild Harvest, where he takes a professional chef out with him and they make gourmet meals with wild edibles, which is a very interesting change from how he normally presents things. He's also got some of his music there, a lot of which is featured in the shows, and some personal vlog-type things. Also a bunch of much more in-depth stuff on a lot of the survival skills that he doesn't have the time to get into in the full show. Lots of cool stuff.

We started doing videos documenting the install of some custom stuff on April's TJ in a new channel.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmrpOopAoBKrQ7icaAHAoDA

It's really more focused on the technical stuff and not so much on being entertaining.  That and I have a face for radio and a voice for print.  So I don't expect it to be a big hit channel.  But some people may find it interesting.

Once I get my MJ build going again, I'll probably document the process here.

Hi guys,

My wife just started a YouTube channel, mostly featuring our adventures in our 1988 Comanche.

https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCCUwO90LMyZCxrYMzhP6Jwg

Long story short, I remember reading about the Comanche in 4x4 magazines and how much better it was that the competition, (crummy 2.8 & 2.9 Chevys and Fords). My dad's co-worker showed up with mine when it was brand new at the job site when I was 14 and I loved it. A few years later, my dad saw one in the classifieds and called, not knowing it was his friend's truck. He bought it and a few years I bought it from him. Fast forward almost 30 years and here we are. The poor old Jeep was in pretty rough shape after being used by two loggers and then a punk kid. We put a lot of love into the old rig in the last few years and it's been on several trips, the longest of which was 2800+ miles, to Death Valley, Mojave, Valley of Fire, ETC with no support.  The last trip to Idaho ended on a sour note, but it wasn't the truck's fault. She's currently getting rebuilt better than ever. Please check it out if you like. Camp Out West US on YouTube, CampOutwest on Instagram. Thanks!

I'm surprised how little there was named on here that I watch.

Dirt Lifestyle  (great fab videos)

Muddy Beards 4X4

BleepinJeep  (Really preferred his old stuff. He didn't seem to progress as much as most channels. Seems like the same thing over and over and filming/editing didn't improve)

Chris Fix

Finnegan's Garage

Cletus McFarland

B is for Build (I enjoyed more of his early stuff but he still has some things that I watch)

Taylor Ray  (grass roots drifting. Down to earth guy)

Berm Peak  (Mountain Biking)

Matt Jones  (Mountain Biking)

VINWiki   (Car Stories)

Hoonigan

Donut Media

Harley Designs  (RC Crawling)

Viva La Dirt League (Gaming skits)

Thanks! That means a lot. I've been working to get the MJ back ready for more adventures. In the meantime there might be a few with a non MJ stand in.

My favorite right now, Puddin's Fab Shop. He's mostly a mini truck guy, but does a bunch of different stuff, including frame and suspension fabrication and sheet metal work, all using mostly basic tools in a home type shop. This guy has a huge personality and is funny and educational. He's a former Air Force B-52 mechanic, and has awesome work ethic. His family runs his merch business 100% so the profits don't go to a mail-order vendor. New videos out every Monday 7 pm eastern.
