  1. so ive made a few changes, i finally pulled the trigger on some new wheels, and a nice set of used KM2's. Ive wanted these raceline wherls for 2 years. i also sold the LED headlights after they got too popular, and threw an old set of stockers i had on the shelf back in it👍
  2. with a factory aluminum valve cover?
  3. I'm running these i found on Amazon for around $90 for the pair, they are plenty bright, have a nice Z shaped cutoff so you don't blind oncoming traffic. i really have no complaints so far other than after a year id rather have a more stock looking light. i might bite the bullet and get a pair of Holley retrobright LEDs, the price tag is the major holdup for me though
  4. Pete, i noticed youre not looking for the red flares anymore, did you finally find some😁
  5. perfect!!! thats really cool! thanks for the info.
  6. ill definately checj that out, got a part # on that gasket?
  7. so i was re-searching and debating some olympic edition differences with a freind on FB. the ones ive seen have thier own unique body side stripe, pioneer pkg with badge on the fender below the Comanche badge, and the Olympic symbol sticker above the Comanche fender emblem, a sticker in the rear window, and beyond that I'm not sure. theres an old Dennis Collins Coffe Walk video on a MJ he has, which he claims is an Olympic edition, but it just looks like a Pioneer with pioneer stripes to me that some one put the window sticker on. I'm just re searching this to know for myself, so if you happen to have an Olympic edition MJ or XJ feel free ti chime in and post pics of it. these pics are of an XJ(white) and a MJ(red) both for sale near me for reference. also i though i read somewhere that they only were available in red, white, and blue. not sure if thats true.
  8. hello, I'm wanting to swap on an older style factory aluminum valve cover to replace a later style stamped steel one. I'm in the process of stripping multiple (3) layers of paint from previous owners. I'm going to attempt to polish it since no one sells a polished valve cover for Jeep inline 6's. my question is, does the older style pictured require a different gasket than the popular blue one from Fel-pro? i will be doing the Cruiser54 valve cover mods too👍
  9. well, i got super lucky today and stumbled across a Dana44 rear for an MJ for sale for $250 on marketplace locally. so i naturally snatched it quickly. i alread have a set of spring perches for it so all ill need to put it in is shock mounts. on a cool side note, the guy i bought it from lived in an old farmhouse thats been in the family for generations, he had the diff stored in a potato crib built into the side of a large hill, it was built in 1910. it was super cool. happy Jeeping everone👍
  10. ORfab tube bumper is on!! all lights are mounted wired and working, just gotta get the 33s swapped on to my Eliminaror wheels and remount the flares. heat and humidy really kills my motivation so this is all i got done
  11. well, theres no going back now, lol i cut my fenders and relocated the horns in preparation of getting these 33s on and my ORFab bumper finally on this project
  12. finally doing the flare swap\ fender trim and front bumper swap. anyone in need of a 83-96 front bumper? I'm in the metro Detroit area. Its a factory fog light bumper and has TJ Hella lights with 2-way LED bulbs, white and amber
  13. got the new ditch lights installed and wired in. they are 3 function, amper fog, amber parking lamps and amber strobes. they require a 4 conductor wire for installation. i think theyre pretty cool and at under 50$, affordable too. found them on Amazon. install was easy due to the MICtunng switch panel
