jimoshel Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Been out for the last couple hours to move a '97 Grand Cherokee over so I could pull the engine. Started right up after putting a battery in it. Spent 10 minutes trying to move it with no luck. Would shift through all the gears OK but wouldn't move. Then something goofed in the shift mechanism and I couldn't move the shift lever at all. Removed the console, Shift lever holder and the the shift and throttle cables. No luck. OK. I'll crawl underneath and move the lever by hand. I crawl underneath and look. NO TRANSFER CASE. NO DRIVE SHAFTS. The light comes on. I sold them about 3 weeks ago. Forgot all about it. It's time for a stiff one. :doh:
