knever3
locked my keys, wallet, laptop, and jacket in my MJ.. and lost my extra set of keys... thankfully i found another key. funny i only remembering making one extra key not 2 Add power locks to your jeep, it's easy and if you have a remote it's more difficult to do that!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Viper-350-Plus- ... 415fdaf2e6 Buy a used keyless entry alarm system or remote start and get a couple OEM lock cylinders from a junk yard Cherokee and you have keyless for under $50!! Rymanrph
I traded it..... sad face. the '97?????!?!?!?!? Never. I traded my '88 Olympic for a '99 XJ two door. It needs a little love, but its a solid truck.
MJRemi
When I bought the 87, none of the gauges worked. I had no idea how much gas was in it. I had previously checked all fuses and and the gauges fuse was fine. I know some clutch fluid is finding it's way down to the fuse panel so I sprayed the gauge fuse connector with electrical cleaner and gave a good cleaning to all the relays in the power distribution panel. I put everything back together and voila!, I now have operational gauges. The leaky clutch mc will need to be dealt with at a future time.

RockMJ
This weekend has pretty monumental for my MJ as well. It finally has seats in it, a center console, and I put the first 10$ worth of gas in it since I bought it 7 months ago. I actually drove it on the highway Saturday night with my wife so it was a pretty awesome moment. Here's some pics from this weekend. The seats and console are out of a 92 XJ, and after some extensive cleaning (POR-15 Marine Clean, lots of soap & water, and a ton of scrubbing) they look great! I also had to make a custom bracket for the rear of the center console so I recycled some steel from the stock OEM front bumper. Worked like a charm Seats need some Wet Okle covers over them, but they are comfy RockMJ
