I made the mistake of letting a idiot ride my wife's 09 LT Z400. Needless to say it didn't come back under it's own power. That mistake has cost me over $800! Damage so far has been a front shock, headlight, ECM, handle bars, rear grab bar and tail light.

Never, ever will anyone ride our quads again.

He stood it up trying to ride a wheelie and broke the tail light and grab bar. He then slammed into a JK and did the rest of the damage.

I'm pissed but it is back together and runs perfect. Everybody keeps telling me to sue him for the repairs. That's not who I am or how I was raised.

Karma comes around.

This is my puppy we got a week before this happened. She is a 6 month old Shepard. Her name is appropriately, Karma.

If you're wondering why I'm completely blowing her apart again this is why...IMG_20230203_164838327.jpg.ef40b881dd52198d0c7f7ebe3c4c0d15.jpg

I thought it was a good idea to use her as a Jeep for about 3 years. This mud has been hanging on for over 5 years! Never again will this truck ever see mud.

Onyx got a spa day to get all the mud off the rear frame.

Since the hood, fenders, doors and rear axle all have issues the best thing was to buy a donor Jeep for parts. I feel like I've been down this road before...

The XJ will provide plenty of needed parts to get her back together.

I also jumped on the Gladiator bumper band wagon and installed a $50 Sport bumper on her. I still need to trim the ends for the box but that will have to wait until I get the leaf packs and everything else cleaned up.

I found a nice exhaust kit on ebay for a S10. I figured I could make it work and work it did. It practically bolted right on.

Slowly but surely she's getting back to her prior self.

I've been out of the Comanche loop for a while. What all is involved in mounting the Gladiator bumper? It looks good BTW.

Just a couple angle brackets. There's a few decent write-ups about it.

The XJ continues to donate parts. I pulled the shackles, cleaned and painted them.

I then painted the undercoated frame with chassis black.

I couldn't make the bolts black so I painted them a nice hammered gray.

I'm waiting on a few more parts to come in to button up the rear suspension and axle.
