A few pics from Augusta Coffee and Cars today. In between the XJs, you can see my truck and @Agreens 86 MJ. There was a third Comanche owner at the show, but he had the family along in the Gladiator. Also there was a sweet Eagle wagon and a J Truck. a sweet Noble M400 as well.

So far, dead on.

So if I'm reading this right, the title is signed over and dated to the guy you bought it from, but he never registered it? I'm also from SC. Never had problems skipping owners as long as they didn't sign or date the title for the earlier sale

Well, I drove MJ for about a half hour then drove to the shop to install my new MTS HO fuel pump / sending unit and it shut off in the driveway of the shop. Could hear the fuel pump running (Airtex problems) but had no spark/injector pulse. Of course, by the time I got my labscope hooked up to the CKP, it fired right up. The MTS unit fits and works great and is silent. I'm planning to take it to a Cars and Coffee in Augusta,GA Saturday with my boy, so I want to make sure it's running right. I ordered a new crank sensor and it flashed a code 21 for the oxygen sensor, so I ordered a new O² sensor also. NTK for both.

https://www.lubelocker.com/products/chrysler-jeep-dodge-aw4-llt-caw4 I would definitely try a LubeLocker.

Yep, voltage drop is the way to go.

Man, I would have loved to have been there.

The looseness at the mount could allow the drivetrain to lift under torque and create driveline vibrations. Make sure to double check your crank balancer for coming apart also.

4.0 Timing Cover differences?
scguy replied to pago cruiser's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Interesting that NAPA's part is a reboxed Dorman 635-409. It shouldn't matter. Dorman's interchange shows the same part number fitting every XJ/MJ 4.0 produced. -
Such a sick truck. Love it!

Right, the main cause was the returnless fuel system on the newer models.

Very nice start. Future 2.4? Like the Chrysler engine? SRT4 swap? -
Very nice. Fun to watch it come along

Bought a Spectra from RockAuto, no complaints

Are you handy with a soldering iron? https://youtu.be/fnzBP-RfuLA

Sent my fan controller in to Nick and had it updated to run the new 1/8 NPT temp sensor. Ordered a new MTS HO fuel sending unit and pump. Looking forward to that! My pump left me stranded once. Kinda odd. I could hear it cutting in and out, but I got home by jumping the ballast resistor.

Nice bike, can't wait to see the MJ lifted. I wish I lived more near the mountains. -

any random tips for changing the injector orings?
scguy replied to Pete M's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
We always use Vaseline at the shop. Works great. -
We do need a south east meet up.

Would you be willing to paint it? I have a black one

Received my 3/4" coil spacers so that the front isn't quite as much lower than the rear after heavy ARB bumper and SOA

Installed my new radiator, went with a cheap Spectra for now, heard good things about them. If it just doesn't cut it, I'll buy a Mishimoto. Also installed my 97+ wiper arms and new wiper blades along with my Dirtbound Off-road battery hold down bracket
